A frankly bazzar experiment that works surprisingly well. This port is a little scuffed, the lighting is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the sounds are pretty awful. But there are mods to fix it. Even so, its a rough game and I have a hard time recommending it. Dialogue loops a lot, be prepared to here the same handful of generic lines CONSTANTLY and very loudly while playing. Gameplay is a weird mix of a fighting game and an RTS. You control your "Master" character and they fight like a typical fighting game character. Sort of. You don't need to do quarter circles or anything, but your moves are dictated by pressing movement and attack at the same time. Its weird, but you get used to it after a few practice swings. You also have combos, launchers specials, supers and a meter. Arcsys basically lifted a bunch of fighting game mechanics whole cloth. The RTS elements are pretty weak by RTS standards, its more like a MOBA. You have two types of units, they spawn and move in straight lines. Targeting resource nodes, enemies within proximity and the enemy HQ as well. You can issue orders. But only very broad ones. You can also pick up your units and carry them with you which is hella busted. Just drop a bunch of mobs to assist your Master whenever they need it. I don't know how to feel about gameplay. The closest thing I've played is Brutal Legend, but this has a far more indepth combat system. At the cost of having anemic RTS elements. Frankly if you put the two games together I think you would really have something. Personally I'm a sucker for these "boots on the ground" strategy games. This and the afforementioned Brutal Legend as well as Iron Brigade. I wish we had more games in this genre its a cool experiment. The story is utterly incomprehensible if you aren't a Guilty Gear fan. Sol, the protagonist will just lore dump technobabble constantly and its not going to make a lick of sense unless you're already in the know. Which as someone who is, its weird to see a game this different from the rest of the series be entirely within mainline cannon and even get referenced in the later titles. The aesthetics are the biggest draw here, character designs are absurdly anime and I love it. I absolutely adore the old Guilty Gear vibe and this game is not only right on the money with the design and sound of everything but its also the only Guilty Gear in full 3D. The music is also really good, probably the one thing most GG fans like about this game. And you get most of it as .mp3 with purchase! Now if someone would just rip Valentine's model... Jokes aside, it looks and sounds amazing. As long as you get the fan patch to fix full screen and the buggy lighting.

[h3] Um jogo injustiçado [/h3] Acho incrível a visão que tinham na realização desse jogo, ele tem muitos defeitos, mas sua arte, gameplay e música te fazem esquecer brevemente desses defeitos, o jogo apesar de ser um rts ainda tem muitos elementos de rack and slash, e consegue traduzir bem o que jogos de lutas anteriores faziam, acho que esse jogo carece de um remaster, definitivamente recomendo ele como uma experiência muito válida e sólida, apesar de inconsistente em certos momentos. Realmente tive uma boa experiência com este jogo
