Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From Obsidian, this game is a historical narrative-driven game focusing on character development, heavily stylized art, and choice-driven storytelling in early 16th century Bavaria. Players will play as Andreas Maler, a clever illustrator caught up in a series of murders in Tassing and Kiersau Abbey over the course of twenty five years. Players will be responsible for conducting their own investigation to decide the fate of the community, but each decision will have lasting consequences and inexorably draws Andreas closer to the center of an underlying conspiracy.
Experience 16th century Europe as the master artists of the time saw them. Art inspired by great illuminated manuscripts and the earliest printed books becomes a living, breathing world in Pentiment.
Choose different academic and social backgrounds and meet a colorful cast of characters as you discover the stories and secrets that lie within the small Bavarian town of Tassing and nearby Keirsau Abbey.
In an era of great religious and political change, each decision you make can have a profound impact on the community’s future. Find your own way through this turbulent time and see the consequences of your choices play out over generations.

What to say about Pentiment? It's different, but in a good way so far. Will add more later when I progress in a story. --- EDIT after complete playthrough, which took my slow ass 19 hours. It's an awesome game as a whole. Controls are a bit wonky, but it doesn't really bother me that much. The story is supreme. Despite it's totally different in almost all regards, it somehow reminded me of Disco Elysium. There's a lot of talking and your answers do matter. And that's great because I have a temptation to start over right away and see how different the story would be with different choices. The game is divided into 3 acts where 1st is the most non-linear and broad, 2nd is somewhere in the middle and 3rd is much narrower than both previous ones. This pace change fits the story though, so it doesn't feel crippled towards the end. The ending is quite emotional, or at least it was with choices I made through the game. Solid 5/5 from me and big thumps up for everyone considering to play the game. --- EDIT 2 after second play through, roughly 14 hours more into the game. Second play through was a bit let down for me. I tried to pick very different choices through most of the game to see how different outcomes will get. Well? Not that much. Sure there are differences like
when you get arch deacon to kill someone at the end of Act 1, he's obviously not present in Act 2, some characters get different personalities later depending on that choice, etc.
or
painiting mural very differently with very visible difference
, but
even though I tried to make the mural as shocking as possible it had zero impact anywhere
and also when I tried to pick every possible answer there was to
keep Magdalene in Tassig and marry Ötz
, but it just did not happen. Looks like the ending is pretty much scripted with just some minor tweaks. Don't get me wrong, it's still very enjoyable game, but I hoped for more impactful choices given this is Obsidian. Would I recommend the game? Yes. Would I recommend to play it multiple times? Probably not.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Un'esperienza interattiva medioevale davvero unica.
lento e profondo
It's like an interactive book with a nice art style and an interesting look at the lives of people in 16th century Europe.
Magnifico
