About
2017. Around the world, oil and gas reserves are being depleted. In the United States, forces hungry for world domination are coming to power. In Russia, the economic and political situation is on the verge of complete collapse. The government is paralyzed. Anarchy reigns in the streets of cities. Control over nuclear weapons has weakened. Taking advantage of the crisis, the U.S. government declares Russia a zone of its interests. A large-scale military invasion begins, the main goals of which are to seize control over Russia's nuclear arsenal, to gain unimpeded access to Russia's resource base, and the gradual destruction of the indigenous population... Points of resistance are mercilessly extinguished by the army of “peacekeepers”, only a few are left... It is in our power to change the situation...

Patriot: DemocratiZation is a pretty bad jank shooter that clocks in at pretty much exactly two hours and if that is an immediate dealbreaker then i do not recommend it. in fact, even if that ISN'T a dealbreaker i don't recommend it... as a standalone purchase. however if you buy the bundle its a part of (on sale.) it's an entertaining enough game to play through. the opening and closing levels are decent setpieces that get pretty fun at times, but all the stuff between it is pretty bog-standard corridor shooting aided mainly by all of its cutting Russian Bush-era political commentary. it's genuinely very funny walking past poster after poster of George Bush photoshopped over German WW2 propaganda and with such a short runtime the joke doesn't wear thin before the game ends! also loved all of the American / NATO troops you shoot speaking in thick russian accents. still, the game itself is very average (by slavjank standards) and does feature some objectively terrible stuff (this might have one of the worst jumps i have ever seen in an FPS, and it DOES have some of the worst rail shooter turret sections i have ever seen in an FPS) but by virtue of being clearly unfinished (this is a game that very unceremoniously ends and features a WHOLE mission, on a WHOLE unique island environment, that gets a WHOLE flyover intro cutscene, that ends up being a random guy talking to you for two minutes and then the mission ends. ok!) none of its cons really overstay their welcome. dumb fun if you can get into a pretty bad game.
Wow this one was rough its beatable but the final mission was terrible! The plot is revenge porn for people from the global south. Very limited weapon selection but very simple level design and super short.
Plot is GOLD
It's actually not bad at all, it is clunky by jumping and ♥♥♥♥ but everything in all it is not bad story or cutscenes or voice chat even tho i dont understand a ♥♥♥♥ in russia... It's def 7/10
Excellent addition to any slav jank enjoyer's collection. It's so slav it doesn't even have subtitles, so you are stuck with Russian. As a Pole I do understand most of it so no problem for me, but the story is such a fever dream you are seriously missing out if you are not a slav language speaker.
