Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!

Small bugs, big bugs, flying bugs! Do your part soldiers! A great time of squashing bugs, watching cutscenes (which is the best part), and just having fun. Only shame is that it ain't co-op.. But I guess we got hd2 for that. Still need to experience the bug side of things, but for now: Recommended!

I think this is a really fun game in terms of arcadey and offers replayability when you collect all the secrets the bug missions are fun quite interesting I think what brings this game down is the derpy live action cutscenes without those the game would be great and having Casper actually voice some lines as his character would have been way better. I think this is as close as I will get to the 2005 fps game my by strangelite that game was just an a whole other level just wish it didn't use the movie scenes or had anything to do with it.

The game has it set where the warrior bugs can 2 tap you on the highest difficulty which is fine IF THERE WAS A MEANS TO PROPERLY DODGE, same goes with the tiger bugs having any form of damage being a 1 tap, IF YOU COULD DODGE as they will charge you with a charge that may or may not cancel itself out. The AI will ALWAYS target you over every NPC ally despite the NPC allies being literally between you and the bugs, IN ADDITION, i was almost done with the mission on the dam defense and i accidentally hit restart mission instead of checkpoint and it doesn't even bother asking a confirmation, they added a confirmation for leaving the game but not if you want to restart a mission. Add some means to fix these issues as currently I find a game of helldivers on D10 more balanced than this before the automatons got a nerf to their missles. BECAUSE YOU COULD DODGE

Homosexuals seem to enjoy the game. Tons of Disney marvel writing and DEI injected fun. Tough boycut haired woman bc she says she tough not bc she proves it. As she constantly looks at Rico like "can I play too, daddy" Rico- the paunchy phoned in vet who just needs a paycheck. How bout the smithers-esque intelligence officer trying to act tough while squeaking out his lines. War is crazy so much death. YAHOOOOOO The devs and positive reviews are psychotic larpers and furries.

I'm doing my part ! Fun, explosive, well made and just long enough to enjoy what's there without regretting what's not. I recommend that you do your part

Hands down the most realistic depiction of war ever made.

A touch short but a perfect representation of the original Starship Troopers. Does a great job of balancing the starship troopers war is "fun" mentality, with the very real war is hell. The gameplay is reminiscent to the old doom style, but with a blend of 2d and 3d graphics. You get lots of different guns and explosives to use against the bugs. Then there's a separate campaign where you get to be the bug. I think the MI campaign is a tad more fun, but running around as a super bug isn't exactly a bad time. Even though the game is short it does offer some replay ability with secrets and an overall mission score. I hope they add some dlc for later though, because even for a $17 discount price I want more. It does feel like a complete experience, but in the end writing this review I just wish there was more.

Don't get me wrong about hating the game. I like it and it's fun with so many references to the first movie where your parents covered your eyes in some parts of the movie but I just want people to know you have 3 slots for weapons. The 3rd slot is like a temporary power weapon kind of thing where your character just drops it when you switch guns. What is the point of having a 3rd slot but you can't keep anything in it? Movement is nice and gameplay is better but that special weapon slot annoys me to the point I just gave up. Also it's very short on missions.
