About
Papa is a short psychological horror game set in 1991, deep in an isolated forest home.
Years after escaping your childhood home with your sister, you receive news that your father has become seriously ill. Your sister is unable to face the past and refuses to return, but you decide to visit him one last time.
At first, everything seems normal. But the longer you stay in the house, the stranger it begins to feel. Old memories start to return, and it becomes harder to tell what is real and what is not.
Explore the decaying house, uncover the truth about your family's past, and face the memories that were left behind.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to keep a family together. The danger begins when the need for control becomes stronger than the ability to let go.

bad game
This game added a genuine factor of fear throughout the entire time! I loved the same but just a few thoughts to help at least in my opinion. Add some ambiance music or noises and make it a little bit louder. There were times were it was really good but then it was super silent. For my stream, I had to play some music at times because it was very silent. Some of the clues took way too long to find. I love a good scavenger hunt, but a little guidance might be helpful. Other than that, I will definitely be playing this game again!

very good game enjoyed it alot :)
I played and beat the game. I had a very hard time finding the code to the attic. Had to watch someone Youtube video to fin the code and still I don't know how they got it. Biggest problem is. I made a newbie mistake. I recorded my gameplay video but I didn't have my mic on. Sooooo upsetting. Not sure if I should record another gameplay but it wouldn't be authentic reaction. Other than that, I recommend playing this game.
this game is so bad. so bad. not even a redeeming feature. i liked how pretty the enviroment was, but it was immediately ruined by the fact this game is so bad at even somewhat showing what u need to do, OR WORKING!!!!!! i would press the button to pick up something, and it wouldnt even work. i had to press it like sixty times for it to work. jumpscares are cheap, i couldnt even change the audio settings cuz it wouldnt work. try to turn the game down? doesnt work. ♥♥♥♥ me i guess! subtitles only apply for when ur character talks, which is awesome cuz u cant understand what papa is saying half the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. this game is a waste of money and time and i wish i could get the hour back i just wasted on this. just so u know, having something hard to find is not good game design. just make the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quests clear. even highlight the item we need idgaf.
I don't know what other people say but i really liked it, the way the father watches you, the story, sure at some points i wasn't sure what to do but in general i really really liked it, great game!
While the game isnt bad, it definitely could've expanded on the story a little more. At the end of the game , i was left with more questions than i had answers. The game does have 2 endings ( you get top make which choice you want and then go back and make the other choice to see both endings ) Also, there were a few times where i couldnt find what i needed ( key and a passcode ). That too me a few minutes to figure out. I'll give the game a thumbs up but it couldve been way better
I really like the game. The story is very well written, but you have to take your time, look at everything, and really immerse yourself in the world. From a technical standpoint, the game ran very well for me. I do have powerful hardware, but I actually played it in power-saving mode and still had no real issues. The graphics also looked great. Regarding the hitboxes, I honestly don’t understand why some people give the game a bad review because of them. The hitboxes feel completely normal for this type of horror game, similar to games from Emika Games and other indie horror developers. Giving the whole game a negative rating just because of that seems a bit harsh to me. The developer clearly put a lot of effort into the game and did a very solid job. I only have one real criticism. There is a part where you are supposed to search for a code. The objective tells you to look for the code and clues in her room, which made me think I had to search only that specific area. However, the code is actually located somewhere completely different. I wasted quite a bit of time because of this. The objective could have been worded more clearly so that players know they should search beyond just that one room. The code itself is also very well hidden and, for my taste, quite difficult to find. But I would never give the game a bad review just because I personally found a puzzle difficult. Overall, I really enjoyed the game and think the developer did a great job.
