JustTomcuk's latest title here is certainly one of the better one's. The signature style of Tom's in the psychological horror/walking sim genre continues to evolve while also keeping story short and sweet. Sound design is immaculate, the jumpscares are of the more "cheap" variety, but with Tom's inane ability to build tension, these jumpscares have a great payoff! If you dug previous titles from this Dev, then get this one too.

I will say recommended just because I don't think this was a bad game, but I did end up finding it a little underwhelming in the end. Maybe I missed a note or something (the danger of having story only told through sometimes hard to see items), but I didn't feel the story was actually explained that well. It left me just kind of going "....okay?" I still had a lot of questions I feel like could've been answered in a lot more detail. The jump scares felt a little forced and ridiculous here and there, but some were genuinely terrifying. The sound design was amazing though, definitely helped the ambience ten fold.

JustTomcuk is a master at creating anxiety using sound effects and background noises. The game play is straight forward and the story is compelling, but it's always the ambiance that gets me on these games. It's also the reason I keep playing them.
