When you first start playing the game it feels really really good. But the longer you play, the more flaws begin to shine through. The worst is that there is never any progression. Throughout the game you will do the same things over and over again without feeling like you are gaining anything from it. Even when you finally have enough money to hire one of the famous painters it doesn't really make a difference. My first famous painter died after 5 minutes without having made much impact. There are also a few mechanics that are never propperly explained so you either try to get behind them or fumble your way through. Since I never had any goal, i eventually just stopped playing and don't see any reason to continue playing either.
Not for me
Really fun and hard to stop. Good when you dont know what to play but want to play something
Simples e muito divertido!
I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews, this is by far one of my favorite Steam games! It's simple and easy to play, with a very nice pixel art style and mellow music that doesn't get annoying. There admittedly isn't too much depth given to your little painters or their clients, but personally I really enjoy coming up with elaborate stories for them all while I play. It can be a genuine struggle to keep up their finances and to keep things going while seeking out and training new painters, especially when trying to cover all the different art styles. The little random events add some spice (I will say they don't happen often enough or with enough consequence to truly add much difficulty) and if you know art history or the history of the available countries the various pop ups as the years go by are interesting and amusing! You can also hire famous artists to join your group after a while (Da Vinci for example), which is neat. Overall the game CAN lack depth, but when you get sucked into its gameplay loop it's addictive. I think if you see this game on sale (averages around 1.99), I recommend snapping it up; for anyone who likes pixel art, art history, or simple management games this is a treat. I have no idea if the developer ever plans to make a sequel or similar game, but if they did I for one would be extremely interested to see expansion in this style and gameplay.
No real goal is set to the playthrough Gets boring after you understand everything. No variety.
I have not played it for a long time but It is creative and realistic. Managing your painters is cool but taxes are hard in this game.
