Painkiller: Resurrection

I guess this is where the bell curve begins to dip on quality, not good at all. Hearing that the games after this get worse... I think I'll get off pain train here.

Painkiller Resurrection introduces six new levels, open areas a lot of shooting and updated graphics from the ealier games. This expansion of Painkiller however, is pure hot garbage, plastered & duct taped and glued togheter. No pathfinding what so ever in the levels, just make sure to hit the "checkpoints". Levels feels like a damn pizza with a lot of ingredients and overly salted. Yeah and tasted like old squichy ham with nice overly made stinky cheese! The good things are the story with it's max payne like cutscenes and occationally some moments of fun can be found during combat and "it's puzzles". I did not encounter any crashes like some other talks about. Pros: +Open areas +Story, Cutscenes +Puzzle like Cons: -Messy levels, only six -buggy -getting stuck eventually Four cheese out of ten

Музыка в этой игре это единственная ложка мёда в бочке говна, НО! Это всё равно Painkiller. Что я имею в виду: разраб хоть и сделали эту часть очевидно хуже предыдущих, но не настолько, чтобы она превратилась во что-то совсем инородное. Это всё тот же Painkiller, просто хуже. Мне игра в целом норм, но рекомендовать её не могу, потому что в игре много технических проблем.Например, тот же fatal error, возникающий из ниоткуда фикса нет, хотя у меня он появлялся только при попытке загрузить сохранение, сделанное секунду назад. Возможно, понимание того, из-за чего возникает ошибка, уже первый шаг к её исправлению. Локи большие, но в большинстве случаев ты просто прыгаешь по чему-то и ищешь проход, не говоря уже о миллионе врагов на квадратный пиксель. Есть и другие проблемы, но мне повезло с ними не столкнуться. Возможно, всего этого хватило бы, чтобы в моих глазах это не был Painkiller, но саундтрек (в прошлых частях, если я правильно помню, его вообще не было) и катсцены комикс всё-таки спасли это утопающие корыто что бы оно смогло проплыть ровно настолько, чтобы появилась следующая часть.

Broken game. almost unplayable

Oh well, TLDR: More of the same, but pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ level design and can crash.

As loading screen says, it's a fan made game. It should be free. It should also be avoided because of how many bugs, bad level design and performance drops it has. Any positives do not make this game worth a try.

Це справжній Painkiller. Гнітюча атмосфера. Заплутаний, складний левел дизайн. Саундтрек дуже моторошно-атмосферний. Сюжет поданий досить колоритно в стилі коміксу як у Max Payne або Need for speed Underground 2. Загадки прикольні, зараз таких складних ніхто не робить. Багує іноді завантаження рівня і іноді не працює збереження.
