this is the greatest game EVER!!!
Don't let the low price fool you. I went into Overcast: Walden and the Werewolf without expecting much, but it turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable horror experience. The atmosphere is the game's biggest strength. From the moment you start, there's a constant feeling that something is watching you. The dark forests, eerie sounds, and mysterious environment keep you on edge, making every step feel tense. The gameplay is easy to understand, so you can focus on exploring and surviving instead of learning complicated mechanics. It does a great job of building suspense, and there are plenty of moments that genuinely caught me off guard. Why you should play it: 🌲 Creepy atmosphere from start to finish. 🐺 A mysterious story that keeps you curious. 🎧 Great sound design that adds to the tension. 👀 Plenty of scary moments without relying only on cheap jump scares. 💰 Excellent value for the price. If you're a fan of indie horror games and enjoy exploring dark, unsettling environments, Overcast: Walden and the Werewolf is definitely worth checking out. It's an underrated game that deserves more attention. Rating: 8.5/10 – A hidden horror gem that's well worth your time.
Let's be honest... I got swindled on a random steam key... I paid $1.27 USD. That said... I paid $1.27 too much. Let's talk about what's good. Its a game. It has... you know... game type stuff. The bad... Its not a good game. Yes, there are jump scares that legit got me good. That may be the only shining light of this title. The rifle is ridiculously slow to reload, the enemies are hard to see because of the crap filter that the developer decided to use all throughout the game. It was poorly optimized... even with my gaming setup, I was getting a few laggy and low-fps moments. As of the time of this writing, the game is on sale... you should buy it. Support an Indie dev trying to do what he loves. But, expect about an hour of playtime, a lot of deaths, peeing yourself from the abundance of jump scares and ear splitting audio moments and the possibility of having to buy a new monitor because of the rage that comes from dying to stupid stuff.
ESTE JUEGO ES UNA VERDADERA PORQUERIA NO LO COMPREN ES UNA PUTISIMA PERDIDA DE DINERO, JUMPSCARES QUE NI SIQUIERA DAN MIEDO, LA PUTISISISISISISIMA ARMA NO RECARGA CUANDO LA NECESITAS MAS, ES RESUMEN ESTE JUEGO ES UNA EXPLENDIDA MRD
This game wasn't like the others. I thought it was ur run of the mill mid 2010s horror game, I was deadly wrong. From the start I knew something wasnt right, my game crashed. When I tried opening it again the menu turned red and said "Get a Job", thats when I knew I had to uninstall.
