Fate Hunters is probably one of the lightest Roguelikes I have ever played. You can spend days on it to unlock everything, or you can play two runs in about two hours and defeat the Tower's Master. The difficulty doesn't spike very high. If you optimize, you can go into this game blind and win. The push-your-luck decision to tie class/item card purchases to escaping with gold bothered me for about the first three hours I played, but I ended up happy with the execution. The art style is grim-dark. The soundtrack doesn't bother me, but I can't say it grabs my attention either. Overall, I can recommend this at full price.
Баланс игры напроч отсутствует, всё зависит от чистого рандома, прокачки как таковой нет, билдов нет. Короче это мусор а не карточный рогалик.
interesting card game, cards are more disposable or a burden in this game. part of the strategy is to handle this. Also having cards that are not always useful but you want to keep them around for the moment you need to have its ability available. This makes it more interesting in a different way since you dont manage mana but manage your amount of draws / discards instead.
Unlike other similar games - I don`t feel this one as unfair - it just difficult.
I've spent 400 hours playing Slay the Spire and completed Ascension 20 with all characters, so I know what I'm talking about. This is a highly underrated game. It features excellent risk management (risk it all and potentially lose everything, or play it safe and occasionally settle for discounted treasures), a brilliant mix of items and skills within a single deck, and an amazing design choice where the developers completely removed the concept of mana. You can play everything in your hand, which doesn’t break the game at all but instead makes hand management far less restrictive. The game is a joy to play. The only reason it lost about 10-15% in reviews is the possibility of losing everything you've earned during a run - but only if you consciously decide to be greedy.
Shallow.
Took me a minute to figure out the synergies, but overall scratched the itch I was looking for. Not too hard to get 100% either
