No remarkable journey is achieved without great effort. In Outward, the cold of the night or an infected wound can be as dangerous as a predator lurking in the dark. Explore the vast world of Aurai solo or in Co-op. The Definitive Edition features both DLCs and quality of life improvements.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Amazing game, a hidden gem, can be hard at first but once you get the hang of it it is amazing
Outward is a hard sell. It's early hours can be mean spirited even by comparison to it's inspirations. It doesn't stop you from stumbling into encounters you are outclassed by, or making decisions you will regret the rest of your playthrough, or permanently failing quests with unique rewards. BUT I cannot stress this enough: this is one of the most rewarding gaming experiences I have ever had. I know you don't want to hear "you just need to play it X hours before it gets good", but that is absolutely the case here. The knowledge you accumulate from your first playthrough, and every subsequent playthough, allows you to start build-crafting your next character, one that can explore a new playstyle, and be more min-maxed than your first flawed attempt. And this game really wants you to do multiple playthroughs, with 3 unique (intersecting) campaigns, with every major quest having unique rewards, and wildly different build optimizations. Couple this with the legacy chests (storage where a character can store gear for a new character, even evolving and upgrading the gear in some cases) and a very fun co-op experience, and you have an unsung indie-classic. Easy recommend if you can stick with it. Come back to this game some day when you are looking for an openworld RPG you feel like you can sink some time into.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

one moment i am fine the next something is trying to peg me amazing game, possibly the best
The game makes you feel more immersed as you are required to do more manual work to advance such as talking to different NPCs identifying which ones have quests without them just having an ! over their heads, the map does not have an indicator for player location requiring them to use their surrounding landmarks to identify their location, the character needing to actively select the option to drop their backpack to not be hindered when dodging in combat causing you to manage carefully what is stored in your pocket vs what is in your equipment bag, and the food / water / fatigue / sleep gauges do require management but also do not need 100% attention every few minutes allowing you to focus on a quest or an area your exploring but still get reminded the character needs maintained as well. A few things that can make the game challenging would be the hit box timing is sometimes rough for blocking or dodging where your character seems to take damage as the enemy is still winding back for the attack or for you to release block after their attack visually looked to conclude but as you release block to counter attack it registers the enemies attack late causing you to get hit. Another feature that can be difficult to work with is having 8 quick key slots for weapons and skills, with the variety of skills available and weapons such as bow / sword / shield all needing their own slot (rune magic is 4 slots to use each rune for combination spells) plus potions etc it would really be nice to have a tool to add more quick key slots or to keybind them in the menus to avoid having to quickly jump to inventory mid fight to try and find the needed antidote or weapon with different elemental attack.
没打击感
I love souls like, i love hard games, i love survival games, i love gothic. But this game is just slog to get silver with alot of cheese and a bad combat. The world feels empty an there is not a single story to talk about. Shame
The experience is way goooddd

This game had a lot of potential to be a fun and exciting open world adventure game; however the game's developers have gone out of their way to make the game dam frustrating as hell to play by design. It could have been a huge hit with a massive player base, but probably turns off a lot of potential players. The core problem with this game is that it is supposed to be a large, expansive open world exploration and survival game, and yet the player has few tools to do any of this because the game has the worst inventory and travel system of any game ever made. To try to deal with the game's horrible inventory system, you can run a specific quest or spend hours looking for power coils to get the biggest backpack in the game. This pack is needed from the start. I had to google youtube guides for it. Without this backpack you will have huge problems gathering and crafting anything with the game's tiny inventory system. The same system means forget about going in heavy armour as it just too heavy. Expect a non functional map like in gothic, but even worse, with no teleportation, no mounts and no pack animals nor wagons or carts. Expect a frustrating health, mana and stamina daily reduction system which is just a royal pain in the .... The game can be a huge pain in the ass to play and is only worth it with a heavy discount on Steam. For less frustrating alternatives to Outward, I would recommend games like Soul Mask, Conan Exiles, Dune, Valheim, Enshrouded, Crimson Desert, Palworld, and Gothic 1 Remake and Gothic 2 Gold, which are all games that do everything that Outward want's to do but are 100% less frustrating.
