this game is very fun its very realistic(dont play with a bad computer) its all about storm chasing if you like storm chasing this game is recomended for you!
game is good but sometimes you crash fast
Its pretty cool, I could leave it at that but nah. I think it does well as a simulator and I absolutely love how its all based on real equipment used by both storm chasers and NWS. Seeing an angry dust cloud then a full blown tornado form in sequence is just awesome. This plays well as a group though I don't think playing with randos online adds much besides the competition of being the first spotter. Alright gripe time, firstly why does gas get consumed at like 10 MPG, you drive from one town to another and your tank is under half full. It makes the game a bit interesting in that you do get the option to upgrade and gives you something to manage as you run around but still it could chill out a bit especially since your score/money is tied to gas consumption and vehicle damage. Second, the upgrades seem to be a bit grindy which again fair, you have something to work towards but having to go through 4-5 almost hour long chases to afford a dash ornament is a bit of an oof. Lastly I hope in the future its added but damage and the thrill of running down something that can kill you isn't really there. I hope realistic us tornado sirens get added in the future as that would increase the thrill and ptsd of midwesterners like myself. Or make it an option. Side note, its funny as hell to watch a rando chase a tornado just to get picked up and tossed. The online modes are really just full of people running to be the one that probes the twister and it ends with funny stuff like that happening.
Ive been a large weather nerd ever since an early age, when i saw this game when i came out ive always wanted to buy it, i finally got it and it is amazing, The calm driving and then taking photos, its one of the calm games. 10/10 recommend
