Patches ruined the experience. I used to enjoy this game but now? Being as stealthy is impossible, I am having tenants wake up on another floor already calling the cops the moment I touch the property line. Its truly broke. Its not stealth if everyone is omniscient. Get into your car to escape, cop spawns under the truck and instantly caught. Chases no longer work, the cops drive about 900 mph. Drive passed a pedestrian and get caught by a 90 yr old man which acts as a game over, civilians are cops now? Some of the easiest missions have become impossible
Frankly quite ridiculous even on normal mode tenants are way to quick to notice same with bystanders, unrealistic level of sensitivity I understand wanting to bring harder challenges then Thief simulator, But it is at such a unrealistic level, tenants pretty much sense you and will pepper spray you way to quick theres no delay. What even is this like you can hit the tenant before they ever pull the pepper spray, and in less then 1 mili sec they already sprayed you frankly this is a step down from the first one do not recommend.
Works absurdly good on linux. Great game with addicting mechanics.
As someone who absolutely loved the first game, Thief Simulator 2 is a disappointment. Almost none of the original charm of the first game is carried over, replaced by some genuinely interesting new mechanics that quickly get overshadowed by several annoying new features in the game. I've spent the first 3 hours of the game struggling through the early game questline, slugging through a storyline that is not paced well at all compared to the first game. It honestly feels like a watered down game, repackaged with just enough features to ride off of the original's success and make a quick buck instead of being an actually fun game. I will not be buying the 3rd game they're releasing some point after this; this game has ruined my taste for the series.
Glitchy and buggy.
I was really hooked on this game, I started playing with the co-op version, and then I bought a single-player game. This is the kind of game that doesn't get boring and in which you can easily spend a couple of evenings
You can't even knock a person out, in the basement of their home, quietly, or else you get an INSTANT alarm and police spawning INSTANTLY outside of wherever you are, so you fail. The game hardly allows you to do much at all, really. Why does the entire neighborhood hear some guy get knocked out from inside of his house? this game has so much frustrating tedium. Don't even get me started on cop chases. This game is terrible, save ur money.
I LOVED THIS GAME AND THIEF SIM 1,goated games they are very fun to play with some minor bugs here and there but its good. Achievements are mostly not that hard but some are VERY hard but eventually u will get them
Looks at the keybindings menu, crash. Sets graphics to the lowest settings and plays for 10 minutes, crash. Welcome to the refund party
