A VERY short experience with 80% of it being stuck at the launch of the game and crashing. 4 types of mushrooms to fight, an odd command named "butterflies fly to car" which I thought could be useful to find the car, except that it spawned dozens of butterflies above the mushrooms (not nice) which would teleport to the car once I would pick the associated mushroom. Still, I managed to find the car, with a dozen of butterflies flying above, that was it, nothing more to do there. I can't recommend a game which needs more time to launch than to be finished, you can - of course - try it for yourself or buy "Morels: The Hunt" which is far prettier and actually playable. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1156590/Morels_The_Hunt/ PS : Don't eat those mushrooms, they clearly want to kill you.
While it has appealing graphics and natural ambiance, Mushroom Challenge is a hollow, pointless exercise to click and drag blossoms to a basket, and then trek back to your truck. There's no progression, no challenge, and most importantly, no fun to be had.
This game is a carbon copy of the similarly-named "Berries Challenge," so the contents of my review are largely repeated here. Mushroom represents one of the latest iterations of Steam shovelware, cobbled together with easily obtainable assets and little to no care for the user experience. The game's starting screen serves as both a flimsy tutorial and an upgrade menu, telling you each bloom's value and teasing you with things to buy to presumably make better gains. But, spoiler: They don't really do anything. Upon clicking start, you'll be spawned in a dense woodlands, with nothing but a basket. You must click and hold this basket as you walk around in search of tiny little shrooms hidden among the grass. Clicking on one will pluck it, after which you can put it in the basket or eat it. Eating it is meant to serve the purpose of restoring stamina in hardcore mode. Of course, this comes at a cost: Getting high. These shrooms are poisonous (maybe)! Returning to the truck is how to cash out your run, and with your newfound wealth you can buy a bigger basket, a knife (that does nothing but add a passive point multiplier), stones to create trails if you venture out too far, a horn, and a dog. The horn teases us about enemies in the game (wolves), but I couldn't find a single one. Your pet points you in the direction of more psychedelics... And that's about it. None of these are necessary. While the game is playable, it's not fun. Other miscellaneous observations:

The game loses focus each time you start, so your mouse desyncs. Try clicking over the black text box to continue.
Clicking Menu after completing a run instead restarts a new run. You need to ESC and select Menu once more.
You can clip or run off the map and get stuck in infinite freefall, there are no borders
No objects (besides the truck) have collision. You can phase through the trees
TL;DR - Overpriced asset flip with easy achievements. Get it if you're a collector, but only if discounted all the way. Otherwise, pass. Consider all of the challenge games at risk of removal, if valve QC audits them. Achievement Hunters: Pick one of each fungi. <1min to 100%, use easy mode to spawn butterflies, revealing their locations.
Played "Berries Challege" and now you want something even worse? Worry not as HEDE* got your back! As usual for this "developer" the install size is humongous - this time it's about 9 gigabytes and yes, of course the download contains all three platform versions again because why not? Gameplay wise this is just like "Berries Challenge" - you are in a forest and have to pick mushrooms - but in this "game" the pickables are few and far between. So you wander - slowly - through a forest without tree colliders trying to spot the mushrooms ... wait, why are we doing this again? There's no gameplay here. Whatever you did in the first minute you'll be doing every minute after that. You can eat the mushrooms and suffer from terrible visual effects if you so desire but that's it. There's a hardcore mode where you have to eat mushrooms so you don't starve but I'd say the entire "experience" won't improve by playing that mode. Everything's extremely unoptimized so the game runs like crap even on a decent system. There are post-processing effects that make no sense turned up to eleven - chromatic aberration for example - while the lighting and shaders are just jank. As with everything from HEDE, just don't bother. The game's not even worth it at 90% off and certainly not worth the crazy asking price of 8 bucks. * Russian developer behind a bunch of absolutely abysmal "games". They tend to hide behind different dev/publisher names but their code gives them away. Check my list for more of their drivel.
$199.99 for 10 mins of gameplay, pretty good value
Mushroom Challenge is another Unity asset flip from the Russian asset flippers at HEDE. They've taken a bunch of stock Unity assets, haven't credited anyone for them, slapped them all in a blender and the result is a godawful 3D first person "adventure" game where you wander around an asset flipped forest collecting asset flipped mushrooms. That's it, seriously, that's all there is to it. No action, no plot, no story or level design.. it's just garbage pretending to be a game. A nasty cash grab of the lowest order. Hede have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Ero Snooker" = Snooker 3D developed by Hammad Baig
"Snowboard" = Snowboard Game Starter Pack developed by Denis Lapiner
"Street Football" = Street Football Game developed by noureddine naceur
"Ero Tennis" = Tennis Mobile - full game developed by Codeer Studio
Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry because they take up shelfspace/marketing space from genuine amateur developers who spend months or years on games. It makes it harder for real developers to find an audience and it makes it harder for gamers to find genuine games. This carries the laughable cash grab price of $10 as Hede once more tries to get your money for the work of others. Don't give it to them.
Beautiful mushroom-collecting simulator. Not much to play! Only for Achievement hunters. Easy Achievements 100% 2min.
THE FOREST SYCK, THIS GAME IS BETTER
