Outbrk is one of the best, if not the best, storm chasing game available right now. It roughly accurately simulates storm movement and development in a broader sense and the storms themselves look fantastic in most cases. The performance has also improved a lot since launch.

Heute habe ich zum ersten Mal OUTBRK gespielt und ich bin begeistert. Ja. Es hat noch Probleme, aber dafür ist es ja auch noch in der Entwicklung. Grafisch schon recht gut, kann es sich dort, genau wie beim Sound noch verbessern. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass die Tonaussetzer bald der Vergangenheit angehören und ich fänd es toll, wenn Rundumkennleuchten auch das Umfeld beleuchten/von Häusern und Bäumen reflektiert werden würde. Ansonsten hatte ich in meinen ersten 5 Stunden echt Spaß, auch wenn es schwer ist, vorherzusehen, wo ein Tornado lang zieht. Das einzige Mal, wo ich die Bodensonde genau richtig hatte, war ich ein paar Sekunden zu spät und der Tornado hat mich erwischt. Passiert! Insgesamt ist es aber schon sehr, was ich erwartete und für Menschen mit der gleichen Leidenschaft wie ich, nämlich Gewitter, Unwetter, Stürme, ist es genau das Richtige. I played OUTBRK for the first time today, and I’m thrilled. Yes, there are still some issues, but that’s to be expected since it’s still in development. The graphics are already quite good, though there is room for improvement there—just as with the sound. I’d love to see the audio dropouts become a thing of the past, and it would be great if the rotating warning lights actually illuminated the surroundings or reflected off houses and trees. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my first five hours, even though it’s hard to predict a tornado's path. The one time I positioned the ground probe perfectly, I was a few seconds too late and the tornado caught me. It happens! Overall, though, it’s pretty much what I expected, and for anyone who shares my passion for thunderstorms, severe weather, and storms, it’s exactly the right game.
