Outbreak: Shades of Horror Chromatic Split

I backed this game a year or so ago on Kickstarter, and it's cool to finally see it come out. If you've played their previous title, Contagious Memories, this is a pretty big step-up in terms of graphical fidelity and game play. If you've played games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill, I'd encourage you to give this game a try. I'll say to anyone having any issues, hop in the Discord. The developer is super responsive there. There have been a few bugs reported by people that were found on day one (the Steam version has been out for about five hours as I write this review), and he's already publishing a patch to fix them.

게임 튜토리얼 구간에서 흥미 떨어지는 게임은 이게 처음이다. 서론이 너무 길고 맵은 아무 짝에 쓸모 없고 어디서 못된 버릇은 배워와서 총보다 총알 먼저 주는 것도 극혐이고. 아니 게임 적응도 하기 전에 초반부터 단서도 찾기 힘든 비밀번호 가방을 넣으면 어떡하냐??? 그것도 필수 구간에서.... 바이오 하자드류 게임 좋아해서 이 회사 게임은 거의 다 구매했는데... 1시간 이상 못 하겠다. 권총은 구경도 못 해보고 총알만 수집하고 파이프만 휘두르다가 지겨워서 꺼버림. 90% 이상 할인해도 (이 게임은) 구매하지 마시길....

Слишком хардкорная, а в завершающей локации обеспечен взрыв Г|укана 4. Анимация противников такое себе. Все зомби бродят так, будто заражены дополнительно полиомиелитом

Love this game so far, it looks amazing on unreal 5. It's a big step up from Contagious memories and I feel the Developer has done a really great job on this one. Old school classic horror, I really appreciate that you can play in first or third person mode, gives the game a lot of replayability. If you're a fan of old school resident evil games you will love this, buy it. This is Dead Drops best game to date in my opinion.

Fun, Great environmental storytelling, modern controls, and bonus modes to keep you busy after you complete the main game! Did I mention NG+? It definitely switches up the formula to keep you on your toes. Too hard? or just want to mess around? You can find cheat codes in the environment to change up your game play. Would recommend to Survival Horror enthusiasts. This prequel to Outbreak: Shades of Horror sets up the main game leaving you excited for what comes next! P.S. Most of my time (Like 1 day 6 hrs) so far has been on the console version and I have unlocked all of the achievements on that version :)

Wicked fun! This game is a breath of fresh air. If you love survival horror games, you'll love this - don't hesitate! Graphics are great, the controls are intuitive and handle well. Keeps leaving you wanting to play more. Another success for Dead Drop Studios!!

Não comprem o jogo, ele não será finalizado com o conteúdo prometido pelo desenvolvedor, que está focado apenas no jogo coop. Ele mantém o jogo a venda, mas não pretende mais dar suporte e nem finalizar a campanha prometida. Mal optimizado.

The game is lacking as it is, untouched since 2024 . Voiceover, just a listlessly murmured few nonsenses. You can't strike and break obstacles when crouched, why ? You can't strike obstacles running, again why ?? I'll tell you: A relevant timed part is fleeing for you life with your way piled with obstacles, crates and barrels everywhere AND you have to crouch under wire meshes with, oh, crates and barrels below and before and just after. And some of the crates, depending on barely seen color in the semi dark of your flashlight are indestructible with your pipe. Stamina last seconds, your get slowed by your infection, or get slowed by falls, nevermind foes. This are forced ways to prolong and make less evident the short duration of the game, making you try again and again in fustration. A while later the game ends abruptly with a TO BE CONTINUED ... There are crates only breakable by handgun, shotgun or MSG, but you complete allmost all the game with a pipe, so, can't take advantage. Hundreds of crates. NG+ ? Why would you bother ? Inventory size is minimal, that old trope must die already. Number of saves are restricted with a clunky system. Again, the resulting bactracking is used to prolong the game time as content filler. Sadly I believed the devs when they promised a major update 14 months ago instead of refunding this. I bought almost all their previous games, a couple were good, specially one. So I waited all this time for anything at all, but they don't even answer since more than a year ago in Steam Discussions. They take the usual refuge of *hiding* for absent developers: Discord, when they have nothing to respond. Not much there either. And we play here on Steam, just talking there doesn't update games. Instead they released another game with a similar name but buried this one in their past. Ironically, they put news of that other game in the page of Chromatic, the similar names is not casual, as if that served at all.

To jest dobry przykład gry, jak dobra grafika nie uratuje złej gry choćby nie wiadomo co XD po czym poznać że gra to raczej crap? Źle wyglądający interfejs, menu główne już wiele mówi o tej grze. Idąc dalej słychać jak nędznej jakości są dźwięki, a w tym ścieżka dialogowa głównej postaci. Ja mówię tej grze NIE.
