Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't be dumb like me and not get the irony of the other reviews. This game is like Resi but if you gave it 30 FPS and every time your player jumped, it screams. Not to mention the "monster screaming" which will shake your entire screen to the point of motion sickness every 5 steps. Maybe buy it for like a 95% sale. but still probably not worth.
I'm a big big fan of classic survival horror games, and unfortunately this isn't worth the time or money. I've given it a fair chance but it's just so rushed, cheap and sloppily put together. Core game play is breaking open boxes, finding numbers to open doors and hitting zombies with a tiny metal bar that breaks your characters arm each swing. Stamina drains from every single action, the biggest drain being...picking up items... Infection rate is constant and goes up way too fast to the point you need to plan your route almost perfectly. Only way to lower it is a rare blue herb. Zombies are everywhere and running past them is difficult due to their hitboxes taking up whole doorways, stairs and corridors, so you need to fight them, wasting time, ammo and infection. You can't take bites to push them off either, so you need to fight them or die to the immovable zombie wall. Enemy placements are not well thought out at all. You can't force players to fight so many enemies when the infection rate goes up so incredibly fast. Environments are ugly. All underground and industrial. Long stun boxes when knocked down, or when falling from forced falls, resulting in enemies getting free hits. I'm all for a game being difficult if it's fair, but janky controls, bad combat, and limited save spots just make it brutally unfair and just the to pad the game out. It's a 2 hour game forced to be probably 4 hours or so due to overly bland big areas to slog through, repetitive 'hidden code' puzzles, and an unfairly hard difficulty. There are so so many small and single indie devs releasing incredible survival horror games that this dev's constant defence of 'two dev team' doesn't work when people call it out for the rushed slop that it is. All of this doesn't take into account the price! if you must try it, wait for it to be at least 85% off. Probably more like 95% though. Avoid, and play something else.

We have Resident Evil at Home! I am amazed at how much improvement this developer has made since ditching Unity and moving to Unreal Engine. It is a night and day difference. Hank's side of the campaign isn't available yet but will be a free update in the near future. You will be exploring and backtracking a lot. Also, you get rewards by backtracking especially when you have certain weapons on hand. This game is Crate Breaking Simulator 2000 (seriously, you will break crates). Pros: Great atmosphere/ Love letter to RE and Silent Hill Nice graphics ala UE5.4 (Huge jump over devs prior Unity games) FPS/TPS-Over The Shoulder views Decent controls (much better mouse/keyboard controls compared to prior titles in Unity) Nice music (inspired by Silent Hill 3) Decent Voice acting Nice Dismemberment (can use to your advantage to kite zombies) Like FMV sequences (Want more of them) Lots of Unlockable Bonus Content/Modes with a great variety Multiple difficulty levels with New Game Plus (locked to difficulty though) Nice replay-ability Unlockable Cheat codes FOV Slider The developer is open to constructive criticism and feedback, and they are very quick to make patches Cons: Performance Heavy (Use DLSS/FSR and Screen Percentage together) Some Shader compilation stuttering (Dev is aware and will patch) Map is terrible Some janky animations especially with Boss type characters (can be almost comical at times) Wish there were some motion comic/in-game cinematic instead of Text for certain events in the game Some items required closer inspection to see that they needed to be interacted with such as the electric box Limited puzzle variety Jumping Puzzles (I hate jumping, lol) Way Too many crates to break Recommend: Subtitles/UI for multiple languages More polish on animations especially for bosses Appreciate more sign posting\highlighting on electric boxes and panels that can be interacted with Prefer more variety in puzzle design Fewer Crates in level design. Way Too Many
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GO_O4c9P7Q I did repurchase it for a more fair review after things were fixed... a bit Updated Review: I actually love the game, but everything in this game falls just short of the mark, it's a little too hard, there's not enough carrying room, there's not enough items to find. the optimization is poor making it hard to get 60fps with a 4090 in 4K. I didn't like it at all when i first played it because it's easy to get lost, the map is not very intuitive, some levels are hard to know what to do. also you can't shoot when crouched and having to hold right mouse to shoot is annoying when right mouse should be just for more accurate aiming. But there is a lot of content and it is finish-able. the Dev has been fixing some of these issues. If you're having trouble I have some tips and cheat codes to help you out. I am on the fence about recommending it in this state and at this price, but I am giving it a hesitant thumbs up in hopes they keep updating these issues.
WOW....this game is terrible and overpriced! Played for almost an hour but cannot play it anymore; keeps crashing and locking up my controls. I plan on refunding? The game is unbalanced; player is always infected, hurt or lost. And as i stated above the game also suffers from poor performance and needs a lot of optimization. The map is useless and you will die a lot. The save feature is horrible, no auto save so you have to find one of the very few save places. Once you die then you go back to the beginning because you don't have a save. A very frustrating game!
Been following this dev's games for awhile. And they keep getting better. I really enjoyed the simple arcadey shooter Railbreak they released last year. If you like games like RE2 remake, you'll probably enjoy this, but don't expect that level of polish and tightness, it is an indie game with some small awkward animations and tiny bits of jankiness. But it's otherwise pretty good, and has a nice mix of kind of old school style RE survival horror with controls and combat more like RE2 remake. My only major complaint is that $25 is probably a bit much, but catch it on a sale and it's worth it.
Only 20fps, rubbish game, please give me a refund, rubbish
This is the best effort yet from Dead Drop Studios. Great graphics, smooth controls, very responsive to the community when issues arise. Definitely a great addition to the survival horror genre and I recommend it to anyone that loves the genre.
Looking forward to getting to know this newest entry into the outbreak series. Dev is very responsive to feedback. The initial setup to the game has given me a few laughs in this love letter to horror games from my younger years.
