Ya it is a fun little game, kinda relaxing I was expected to find timer quests, and there are just not the main quest, which gives you enough time to play aound with it and level up. Which is good for me.
意外的好玩,除了美術之外都是頂級之作
这游戏挺上头的,一不小心一晚上就没了
The best tactical game. I want new classes and continued updates.
Positives: - Great concept. Negatives - Unpolished art style - Gameplay feels clunky
There are strong influences of other games within this genre present, but this game adopts those mechanics pushed them further. The trait system is sweet, builds are versatile, loot is diverse. Really liked how you could concentrate traits and additional skill point potions to preferred or high potential characters, ended up developing an OP adventurer that could solo nearly any encounter in the game. It feels like the ultimate Flash game, mean that in the best way possible. Definitely worth the $20
Everyone else has already said it, the graphics are rough, but to me there is a charm to them. This brings me back to being 10 years old and finding a weirdly in depth flash game that I obsess over after school and on weekends except now I am 28 and obsessed with this game after work and on weekends. I keep thinking I have burned myself out on it, but the itch keeps coming back.
Nothing in this is particularly *outstanding*, but it does a lot of things, and it does all of them *decently*. Like it can be kind of grindy, but the scaling is well balanced so if you don't like a challenge you can grind five easy quests to level up, or if you don't like grind, you can do one dangerously difficult quest and level up in one shot. The skills and gear similarly are mostly well balanced in terms of cost/utility balance. There's a few skills and items that I really don't see the point of (20% all-element resistance, or 50% single-element resistance - I guess you *could* equip that for some very specific quests, but mostly you'll be better off using other things so you don't take the elemental hits in the first place). One somewhat frustrating thing balance-wise is the number of enemies that can't suffer from bleed or poison, making a lot of skills frequently unusable (and again, slow-damage is kind of a weird way to go in general because fast-damage kills most things before the slow-damage has time to take effect - there are a few bosses where stacking poison and bleed does wonders though). The graphics may leave something to be desired if you care about that sort of thing: I don't, and I like that the graphics are *clear* - you can nearly always see everything you want to see [very occasional tile-height issues in combat but there's a workaround provided]. I don't normally like meta-management in my turn-based strategy, but it's done so unobtrusively here that it's no problem. Everything about this is like that, there's a whole lot of things that would usually irritate me, but here they don't, because they're done cleanly - it's like it went through *a lot* of playtesting and someone really listened to feedback and fixed every annoying thing it could have had.
Imagine Darkest Dungeon, but instead of top tier art it looks like something a scammer on Discord would try and sell you. Imagine Fire Emblem, but it's the kind of cringe writing and dialog you'd be embarrassed to have posted on your Geocities fan fiction blog in 1999. Imagine XCOM, but it's bad anime drama. The gameplay itself is okay even if it's ripped directly from better games.
