Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition

Hollow Knight was my first Metroidvania, and I loved it. So I started looking for others, and then I came across Ori and the Blind forest. I started playing it a few days ago and after 16 hours of playing reached 100% game completion. I loved the challenging platforming, I noticed that there were no boss fights at all and I think that that is not necessarily a bad thing. All in all I give this game a great 9.5 out of 10 and I'm going to start playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps now😉.

All the attempts to pull at my heartstrings was a little off-putting, I just wanted to play a silly metroidvania, not feel things. Graphics and aesthetic are beautiful, it's like playing in a painting. I do feel though that they prioritized pretty graphics over gameplay because often time I found myself unable to easily see projectiles or other hazards on the screen because of how bright everything can be and how they blend together. A lot of "wait, what killed me there?" moments. The platforming is tight and responsive and solving the little platforming puzzles it throws your way was satisfying. Pretty short game, took me 8 hours to beat it on hard. May want to wait for a sale if the price/playtime ratio sounds off to you. During those 8 hours of playtime I died 600 times, which is kind of embarrassing but probably pretty normal. The devs seem to be aware of how easy it is to die and lose progress because they implement a quick save system that uses an energy resource so you can place a save in most areas as long as you have at least 1 of the resource points. Recommended. Fun, tight gameplay and beautiful aesthetic.

Un juego muy entretenido que te absorbe muchísimo; tiene gráficas muy bellas y una buena historia, lo recomiendo.

decent game really avarge if u have the extra time check it out but dont expect something amazing bec the story and combat is bad it gets carried by the metrosvainia part which was pretty fun nothing amazing
