Ori and the Blind Forest is one of the prettiest games I have ever been personally victimized by. It is gorgeous, emotional, wholesome, and so full of charm. The art is beautiful, the music is stunning, and Ori is such a tiny precious little creature that I immediately wanted to protect them from everything, including the game itself. For most of it, I loved the experience. The world feels magical and alive, the movement is satisfying, and there is something really special about the way the game balances beauty with danger. It looks soft, but it absolutely has hands. And then the ending happened. I will fully admit this may have been user error. At some point my brain stopped understanding what the gameplay wanted from me, and the game started rage baiting me in real time. I was no longer a person. I was just stress, confusion, and a tiny glowing forest child getting humbled repeatedly. But we made it through. That is the thing with Ori. Even when it frustrated me, I still cared enough to keep going. The game is too beautiful and too heartfelt to just walk away from. It pulls you in with the cute, pretty forest vibes and then quietly asks if you are ready to suffer for art. Ori and the Blind Forest is wholesome, emotional, stunning, and occasionally rude as hell. I loved it, even when it was bullying me.

The story and the gameplay is great, but there are 2 things that almost ruined the game for me which can be easily fixed, 1) It is very difficult to differentiate between background and actual platform. I've died a lot of times because of this. 2) The chase sequence ruins the fun. They're so unneccessary long and there are no checkpoints in the chase. The thing that makes it bad is that this is very random. Objects will have different timings. Sometimes it will appear quickly and sometimes it will take forever. HM: Please give an option to customize key mappings. My finger broke keeping the Shift bbutton pressed. I'm not big fan of Shift button when it comes to platforming.

약 11시간을 플레이하여 엔딩을 보았습니다. 아트의 예술성이 느껴지는 게임으로 모난 곳 없이 훌륭한 수작이라고 생각합니다 난이도가 어렵다는 평이 많지만 개인적으론 마지막 호루산 최종보스와의 추격전빼곤 전부 할만했습니다. 다만 게임이 어느 정도 관찰력을 요구해서 모르면 죽어야지라는 말이 절실히 느껴졌음...

It's a really beautiful and fun game. Ori got many abilities that it learn over time. the level design is great with creative puzzles. The sound and music is also good. Overall its a great game.
