Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Halfway through and Im having a blast. If you played em back in the day catch em on sale and run it.
tbh i am disappointed, onimusha 1 was very much better in so many ways
Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny is one of those games that instantly pulls you back into the PS2 era in the best possible way. I played the original Onimusha a lot back in the day, so coming back to this one on Steam felt like revisiting a very specific kind of action-horror magic that modern games just don’t really replicate! What still stands out is the atmosphere. The mix of historical Japan with demonic invasion gives the whole game this eerie, almost dreamlike tone. One moment you’re walking through a quiet village, the next you’re fighting off monsters in tight, claustrophobic corridors. It has that classic Capcom vibe where everything feels slightly grounded but also just surreal enough to be unsettling. The combat is simple, but really satisfying once it clicks. Timing blocks, countering enemies, and managing weapon choices gives every encounter a nice rhythm. It’s not overly complicated, but it doesn’t need to be. There’s a certain weight to every swing that makes fights feel impactful in a way a lot of modern action games miss. The character system is also a nice touch. Building relationships and seeing how they affect progression adds a bit of personality to the journey, even if it’s not super deep by today’s standards. It gives the game some replay value too, which I appreciate. Of course, it’s very much a product of its time. Fixed camera angles, tanky movement, and some awkward design choices are still there. But instead of ruining the experience, they kind of add to that old-school survival action identity. For me, Onimusha 2 still holds up because it knows exactly what it is. It’s stylish, slightly strange, and full of that early-2000s Capcom charm. If you grew up with the PS2 era, it’s an easy recommend just for the nostalgia alone… but even without that, there’s still a solid action game underneath it all.

Loved it missed alot first play through. Ready for the new one coming
Bom envelheceu bem.
So classic samurai action game in Resident Evil style with fixed camera angle as well as pre-rendered background.
