A charming little adventure game that takes you to a small, sleepy coastal town in Liguria. I especially loved the Italian flair. The mystery storyline was okay. If you’re not expecting a graphical masterpiece and enjoy adventure games, I can definitely recommend it. PS: The cooking minigame is the absolute worst thing ever. It's the only thing I can really say anything negative about.
Absolutely loved this game! A cozy feel good game with lovable characters!
V fun game I just wish Italians were real </3
Honestly and genuinely loved this game! It was so engaging and heartwarming. While I regret cheating a bit using a guide for the later detective and interrogation challenges, I was so invested in the amazing story, I didn't want my frustration to tarnish my love for it. It has been a while that I've played a game that made me happy and sad and on the verge of tears, and I loved every second of it. Definitely going back to replay and fully finish the game and its achievements. One may look at this as a furry game, and as a furry myself, totally agree. But it is a game for everyone that enjoys a awesome and powerful story. Thank you devs for your awesome work in producing such a masterpiece, and creating a game for the mind, heart and soul.
An exceptional game that will make you feel like you're spending the summer in a small Italian town out of time. Note to developers: AVAIA RAGAZZI QUESTO GIOCO E' TROPPO BELLO PER AVERE DEI PROBLEMI STUPIDI: GLI OBIETTIVI SI SBLOCCANO A CASO E LAGGA QUANDO CAMBI ZONA DELLA CITTA'. NON CI CREDO CHE IN UN ANNO NON AVETE TROVATO UNA SOLUZIONE. 8/10 (you can kiss girls)
I don't know what's wrong but the view angle of this game gives me a headache.
Overall I enjoyed my time with "On Your Tail", but there certainly were things working against that enjoyment. It has its share of bugs, with random issues popping up throughout the game. Examples include textboxes being cut off, collectible cards being blank, and occasional issues trying to interact with objects. The camera can also be hard to wrangle, and a big frustration for me was that after taking control away from the player with a cutscene, or after the player transitions into another space, the camera is often put in an odd place that hampers your initial movement. Not so bad if it happens rarely, but really annoying when it happens frequently. Don't even get me started on the camera when playing the marbles minigame. Ugh! Although the story takes a little turn for the absurd in the second half, I still enjoyed the process of going through it and figuring everything out. I liked spending time with the characters, and learning to navigate the twisty-turny streets of the town (though I do think there should have been a fast-travel that put you in the ball-park of the three main districts. Because the game is set in one small town there is a LOT of backtracking, and many will get tired of that quickly). Some of the mini-games were fun, although the main investigation one did require you to bruteforce at times to work out the correct order, rather than being purely logical. But the animations for that were really fun and I enjoyed watching the story play out in that way. Overall this was a positive gaming experience for me, but the bugginess and issues the game has means it's not a strong reccomendation. If you like the look of the visuals and the sound of the story, then give it a go.
I really wanted to like this game but I just couldn't. The music is absolutely fantastic and it looks great! Fishing, looking for constellations and taking pictures was fun too but that's about it.. There is simply too much running around from point A to point B just to go again to point A. In the end I gave up trying to make money just to buy things (to unlock outfits etc), increase the relationships and cook foods, which most of the times was a gruelling task and failed way too easily. I am sure people loved it but sadly it was not for me.
