Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.

Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Gameplay Mechanics: 9/10 Narrative: 4/10 Graphics: 6/10 Sound and Music: 7/10 Replayability: 9/10 Innovation: 10/10 Offworld Trading Company is one of the most unique strategy games out there—ditching traditional military combat in favor of economic warfare on Mars. It’s a fast-paced, real-time market simulator that challenges your brain in a completely different way from most RTS games. Gameplay mechanics are excellent. Instead of commanding armies, you’re manipulating markets, optimizing resource production, sabotaging rivals, and triggering hostile takeovers. Timing and adaptability are everything. It’s a fresh and exhilarating kind of strategic challenge. Score: 9/10. Narrative is barely there. There’s a campaign with CEOs and mission goals, but it’s thin and serves more as a backdrop to the gameplay. Don’t come here expecting character arcs or storytelling. Score: 4/10. Graphics are clean and functional, if unremarkable. The Martian terrain and building models are easy to read, which helps gameplay clarity, but it’s not a visual showcase. Score: 6/10. Sound and music are solid. The soundtrack fits the sci-fi business vibe well, and sound cues help track market shifts and events. It won’t blow you away, but it supports the experience effectively. Score: 7/10. Replayability is extremely high. With randomized maps, dynamic market conditions, multiple corporations, and multiplayer options, every match feels like a new puzzle to solve. Score: 9/10. Innovation is where Offworld Trading Company absolutely crushes it. Turning capitalism into the weapon of choice in an RTS? Brilliant. It’s unlike anything else in the genre, and it’s executed with real depth. Score: 10/10. Bottom line: Offworld Trading Company is a one-of-a-kind RTS for players who love economic strategy and fast, brainy decision-making. If you're tired of swords and lasers, and want to win through brains and market timing, this is a must-play.
buy and sell simulator 👍
Very good game. Teaches me to use resources efficiently. Just because the price of a resource is high doesn't mean it's expensive. Developer, please fix the tooltip where mines automatically add up all possible resources that it can mine to call it profit. Preferably, we should have a tooltip when hovering a building over a tile before building, showing how much money it will make. Not every tile has both iron, aluminum and uranium.
