This game is trippy as all hell, and a very worthwhile experience if you happen to love strange RPGs in the vein of Earthbound and Undertale (of which the former was an inspiration for this game and the latter inspired by it). The combat is shockingly engaging considering the relative lack of depth for an RPG, the art is truly excellent (especially the pillar box arts, of which some of the secret ones are worthy of being my next Desktop wallpaper), and the story is really captivating. The world is extremely odd and interesting, and at times genuinely frightening (which I say this as someone who has played just about every entry in every big horror game franchise). And while the game leaves so much to interpretation, it still manages to deliver a satisfying narrative when interpreted literally, something that most surreal experiences fail horribly at (according to my tastes). I would recommend getting this game on sale though, because it is REALLY short. I got the (stupid and maliciously irrelevant) secret ending and all achievements in just over 10 hours, and at 15 dollars this game is a bit overpriced when factoring in the sales which seem frequent and decently deep. I'd still pay full price if the game never went on sale though, again it's a really good game. I can't elaborate on this game's quality in terms of being a remaster, as I didn't even know this game existed until I got this remaster recommended to me, but on it's own merits it is really good. And also screw that damn secret joke ending, genuinely pissed me off that I spent so much extra time in the purified zones just for that. That time was still well spent, but damn was I expecting so much more than that intentionally lame punchline.

maybe the best game like ever

I really enjoyed beating off. But when I eventually made everything white I got a sense of clarity that what I did was wrong. This game was fun too.

Хорошая, коротенькая, атмосферненькая игра. В целом вызывает чувство меланхолии, особенно под конец. У неё наверное какой-то крутой лор, но я ♥♥♥♥♥ не понял. Жаль нету русской локализации. В общем хороший средняк

Really good remake of the first game. The combat system has been overhauled and is just overall more fun and interesting. The music is different from the original and its not bad though I dont think it fits the game as well.... but its still some very good music!!
