For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Nuumonsters is a nostalgic, Gen-1-inspired Creature Collector RPG. *Recently completely rebuilt from the ground up and re-released via free update in 2026 — same charm, sturdier foundation.
Explore the quaint and adorable "Hana" region, consisting of flavorful routes and towns. Defeat Elite Trainers to unlock new areas and continue on your journey. With 70+ monsters and countless moves, players have a lot of teambuilding options to indulge in as they level up their favorite monsters to take on enemy trainers with.
Nuumonsters is a short and sweet monster tamer, with it's art and charm being the main selling points. This game originally released 5 years ago and served as the solo developer "Yano"'s very first game. In 2026, it was completely remade from scratch, though it's original simplicity was maintained mostly unchanged from the original.
That said, the remake has produced a fully functional RPG with 70+ Monsters, though admittedly lacking in story or depth. As it stands today, this is a super charming game, with a breezy adventure rather than an epic story — if that's the trade you're looking for, Nuumonsters delivers it.
The original game has been preserved and is launchable via steam launch options. After hitting play, you'll be able to pick which one to launch. While Nuumonsters Classic is just as charming, it's recommended that new players play the remake, unless you intend to play both versions and compare differences.
*Saves from Nuumonsters Classic cannot be picked up or continued in the remake.

I love Pokemon/Monster battler games but this one has no real innovation. No evolutions, Type advantage is very one-lined/ no variety in it. The gameplay itself is repititive. I have gotten 100% achievement but it was not FUN at all. The only unique mechanic is that when your monster level up it gains full HP and MP again, even during mid battle, which I think shouldn't be the case. I love the artstyle, the nostalgic Pokemon GB sprites but thats about it. Not worth it

I seriously cannot bring myself to continue this game. First and foremost, the game is riddled with bugs and glitches, rendering it simply unplayable. Every name of every move in battle is shuffled with effects, descriptions, and damage that don't match, which makes it simply impossible to even know what you're doing. Additionally, the difficulty scaling is awful. Elite trainers have weaker monsters than those found in the wild or from random trainers. When moving from one area to the other, the level of everything you run into increases so drastically, you cannot even train to catch up to the level of opponents. You have to grind disgustingly boring battles just to be able to play. Trainers are also a suggestion in this game, as not a single one is an obligatory fight. Items are practically useless, as you cannot use them in battle. The music is so monotone and boring, only cycling between 4 or 5 songs for every battle and area. NPCs are flat, have nothing interesting to say, rendering the world empty and barren. Areas feel boring to explore, as no landmark stands out anywhere. Monster designs are alright, but lack inspiration. The fact that monsters don't evolve is frankly boring. Sure, you don't want to copy Pokémon, but at least have something else in place to make the game more dynamic. Types don't make sense and make combat convoluted, probably in tandem with the buggy moves. There are no EXP bars to track progress: instead, it is expected that you head into the party menu every damn time to check your monsters' status, EXP, learnable moves, etc. The optimisation of this game is truly abysmal. Avoid this game for your own sake.
You know that feeling when you're craving something to eat, then you go out and get it, and your order was messed up? That's how it feels to play this game. This game is 3 years into their 6 month early access, and the last update was in November. It was for bug fixes. The last update before that was in 2022. Also bug fixes. There hasn't been a real content update in over a year, which is double what the Early Access was supposed to be. That should tell you all you need to know right there. But... I'm just going to discuss the problems I had in the first two areas... yes. That's all I played. - There's NO run feature. - When you go to capture something, it says your current monster's name instead of the one you're trying to capture. - I've never failed at capturing something. - The AI in this game seems to play for your side, using less powerful moves if it can kill you, and skipping attacking to use other moves if you're one hit away from being knocked out. These moves are used by wild monsters that when you catch them, they don't always have... I don't play games to be cradled. - Your party screen is locked until you find coupon girls that give you coupons and you win it as a prize. - The party screen doesn't even let you do ANYTHING but change the order of your Nuumons or whatever it calls them. You're not invested into a story that explains anything so I forget. The only way to view your stats (Yes, the screen exists) is by checking them during a fight. That's ridiculous! - There's things in your menus that say ??? for explanations, but in other menus have the explanation for the thing that isn't explained. Also, there's things that say they aren't introduced yet, but it's literally been over 6 times the length of their "Early Access" goal, so when is it getting introduced? - If you need to switch out your current monster, it goes to the next one on your list. You have to put your party together accordingly. This feels like a big mistake. All the areas I've been in have been a random assortment of monsters so there's no strategy in getting through them. There's almost no point in switching now, and you should just grind one up to walk through the game which gets boring really fast. - There's no real explanation of what's going on. You talk to everyone and find out you have to grind to a certain amount of exp in order to fight an Elite Trainer. After you do that, you can unlock the next route. - When you beat the first Elite Trainer, the first monster in your party starts following you... What? No explanation, no reasoning, just have this weird concept added to your experience. I'm assuming the more you beat, the more your party follows you, because the trailer shows various lengths of monsters following you throughout. - Talking to trainers you already battled forces you into a fight with them again unless they're an Elite Trainer. This is very counter-intuitive to every previous experience anyone has had in a Creature Collector game, and I almost lost because I had to refight the fight I just did. It was my first fight and I had one monster with me. - I intentionally died because I read some reviews after I tried this out, and instead of just a game over, now you restart in your room. I was two towns away by then. That's like fainting in public and getting taken to your house instead of someone taking you to the nearest hospital. This game is wildly troublesome. If you're going to copy some else's work, you should at least keep the good aspects that are already flushed out instead of adding issues to be quirky. I feel like the reviews didn't go into much detail about their experience with the game. Maybe this will help make the game a little better, but I doubt it.
This game is the perfect tribute to Pokemon Red and Blue because it's just as if not more buggy LOL I enjoyed it and I think it's fun and cute but it is so unpolished. I have a high tolerance for that sort of thing but if you don't I suggest you don't buy it...
Aproveitando pra jogar durante a folga , nostálgico e divertido .
Didn't like the game. [Spoiler] I got stuck in Snoberri because Momoka wasn't in her house nor in the route 07, the boshii keeps saying "waka waka". I'm at 1400 Elo and beat every trainers at least once. I won't play this game anymore.
It's very cute and clearly a lot of effort was put into it as an homage to 1st/2nd gen pokemon, but it feels clunky to play, is lacking overall polish, and is buggy. I immediately ran into a bug with the first 'quest' where an NPC didn't recognize that I have the right items (even though I had them), and it randomly resolved itself after entering and leaving the area (via a house). Another really annoying bug: The dialog box won't close if a direction is being held down. Stuff like this makes it kinda unplayable for me personally.
