Ragnar is determined to find the source of evil and destroy it before it spreads to his own kingdom. (Developer) So much for the story, which isn't all that bad. Collect, build and remove blockages under time pressure. The time pressure can be switched off. The cards are very well made. The focus is just to have fun. A really well done gameplay. Ragnar will die Quelle des Bösen unbedingt finden und sie vernichten, ehe sie auf sein eigenes Königreich übergreift. (Entwickler) Soweit zur Geschichte, die gar nicht so schlecht ist. Sammeln, Bauen und Blockaden entfernen unter Zeitdruck. Der Zeitdruck lässt sich abschalten. Die Karten sind sehr gut gemacht. Schwerpunkt ist es einfach nur Spass zu haben. Ein wirklich gut gemachtes Gameplay. Klare Empfehlung. [h1]Short version: 68%[/h1] The third Northern Tale is hardly innovative, but its (familiar) level design and storytelling combined with a nice and low difficulty result in a pleasant casual time manager. [h1]Long version:[/h1] Northern Tale 3 uses the wise approach of creating a sequel, where it focuses on reusing the better elements of its predecessors while trying to leave behind the weaker ones. Since core gameplay is among its biggest strengths, that one is virtually untouched: we use our Viking workers to gather resources from several different source types of varied characteristics, so we can spend them all on the ever-increasing goals. The story follows a similar structure to the first game, although instead of rescuing our protagonist’s daughters, we are saving four local lords of the primal elements from the influence of an evil dragon before tackling the lizard as well. In terms of gameplay, this translates to five level sets with recurring gimmicks copied from Northern Tale 2, but their presence here integrates much better into the individual stages. Unlike the previous entries, Northern Tale 3 is more accessible to any kind of time management player, since its stage time limits finally have mercy on our clicking fingers while the more balanced resource gathering ensures that our workers can keep themselves busy without waiting longer periods for our warehouse to refill. As long as you keep your expectations in check, it is a solid mediocre entry in its chosen genre.

It's clearly not as good as the second one. The story is very limited and even is there are some news in the gameplay, it's a bit boring.

Gehört in jede Sammlung. Wie schon die Vorgänger richtig gut. Hat ein paar nette Neuerungen und die Maps sind nun gegenüber dem zweiten Teil auch einige Sekunden fairer gemacht worden, so dass man im schlimmsten Fall maximal 2-3 Durchgänge für Gold benötigen sollte. Aber immer noch kein FullHD und keine Steam Errungenschaften. Wertung: 8/10

3ème opus de la série, c'est toujours aussi agréable à jouer. Il n'y a rien de bien novateur dans le gameplay, juste un nouveau bâtiment qui permet à un mécanicien de réparer des anciennes portes et ponts. Rien de bien nouveau certes, mais comme le jeu est toujours aussi plaisant, cela ne pose pas de problème. La difficulté est peu présente en comparaison de celle du second opus ou pour finir avec 3 étoiles à chaque niveau il fallait recommencer de très nombreuses fois. Ici tout se fait du premier coup ou presque. Enfin s'il existe bien une traduction Française, elle a été faite par un moteur de recherche ce qui donne des phrases... spéciales. Quoi qu'il en soit, je recommande ce Northen Tales 3.
