About

no signal is an emotional point-and-click hard sci-fi adventure game with a free camera. Explore an abandoned station as you aim to uncover the secrets left by the crew and the marks they left upon the station. Piece together an emotional, introspective story about loneliness and meaning.

Operate PGEIST, a remote viewing tool that allows the player to view - and interact - with the full 3d environment where you can examine everything. PGEIST can move through walls and furniture, so you can see things from a different perspective.

Solve increasingly complex puzzles, and put together environmental and narrative clues from dialog to progress within an open world.

Peer into the lives of the researchers aboard the station by piecing together conversations, logs, and journal entries.

I generally don't enjoy puzzle games, but no signal has been more then enjoyable. I keep coming back hoping to finish it. If you ever find your self lost, i recommend stepping away for a bit and coming back, its easy to lose track of what you have and don't. Also keep a lot of notes. overall probably one of the most interesting puzzle games I've played with a great mix of puzzles and story.
Played through in one session. I am very smart. Or. The game has a way of making me feel like I'm very smart. Either way. I am very smart. It's one of those games that just opens up as you play. And it's really obvious how it opens up for you. There's tons of well crafted, cohesive lore around the place to flesh out the game world narrative. It has some beautiful visuals - that black hole isn't just for show - and as I got to the end I just really... felt something. I didn't just feel like I understood what happened. I felt like I understood the people who'd been on the station. The puzzles are well crafted, although if you want to make the most of things and not forget things, you'd better get used to using the in-game notepad (great idea). I never really felt lost, or that I had to have any kind of external knowledge about anything (except in one, non-story section that's entirely skippable). All the puzzles are just logic puzzles, or finding things, the clues for which are in all the notes and all the lore. Being isolated on a space station is such a weird vibe, but it's one I love. Like Observation, or Tacoma. There's a vibe here, and it's strange, and isolating, and ultimately comforting, and I love it.
Love the visual style and especially enviornmental design! The textures are plain but lots of work was put in to make the spaces feel lived in, almost intimate.
Really fun exploration, puzzle, hidden object game, with a nice atmosphere and sense of mystery,
I initially went into the game thinking of it as a neat escape room game, but as I found things throughout the game that shed some light on the characters who worked at the space station and events that happened there, it became a lot more than that. The messages found throughout the game made the characters feel realistic and relatable. The sound design, music, visuals, and environmental storytelling go a long way in making the experience immersive. As for the gameplay, the controls were easy to understand and accommodated for different player control preferences. The puzzles were just the right amount of challenge to not be frustratingly difficult but also not so easy that I could just speedrun them. The note-taking feature was extremely helpful and made it so I didn't have to use something external to record important information. I ended up not needing the hint feature to finish the game, but I can imagine it's very helpful to direct players towards what they need to continue enjoying the game if they're truly stumped. The search for collectibles was mostly pretty smooth and incorporated into the process of beating the game, so it didn't take too much more time to backtrack and find anything I missed. In summary, it's a great game! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfy vibes, puzzles, music, and a sense of connection between themselves and the characters in games (despite having no signal, hahaaa... Yeah, sorry about that).
A beautiful little piece of storytelling, I particularly enjoyed the little glimpses into life on a space station where the benefactors cut corners in ways that makes the crew's experience ever more slightly uncomfortable. Finding the collectible shark plushes was an adorable bonus 💚
No Signal was simply an amazing game. It had very good puzzles that I would stumble at plenty of times but figure out eventually. There is a very obvious care about where everything is placed and how the puzzles feed into the world that's created. The game goes about itself less like puzzle game and more of a mystery. It's a great puzzle / escape room type of game that uses a ton of mystery to find the solutions to some of the puzzles. There is a lot of mystery of why are you here, what am I doing, and etcetera. This feeds into the narrative, being told through a variety of characters by figuring how they interact with one another.Mostly feeding into where the solutions are to the plentiful amount of puzzles in the game. The game goes out of it's way to let you figure out things and find out how to open this door or where the power room is. There is a hint system for those that may get stuck on what they're missing or trying to find per room. There is more to say but I wish to let the game speak for itself and recommend you try it out. - Puzzles with a variety of difficulty - A mystery style narrative that unfolds through player exploration and progress - Incredible music that adds to the immersion and ambiance of the world - An extreme care to the environment / level design that makes the world feel lived in at some point
Frfr I need you guys to get and play this game, not sponsored, just a delightful time so far. Sci-fi escape room, good hint system doesnt spoil the puzzle. Good time
