Maravilhoso
I honestly wasn't sure about buying this cuz I'm typically not that into isometric ARPGs, but it did look like a lot of love went into making this game and I guess FOMO got the better of me so I decided to pick it up before 1.0 hit and the price went up. Man, am I glad I did. At first I wasn't really seeing the 'souls-like' aspect since you don't drop 'souls' or experience when you die and save spots don't respawn enemies. Instead, your equipment loses durability when you die, which can be repaired at a blacksmith. Also, enemies seem to respawn if you venture to another area of the map... I think? Playing on a controller is definitely the way to go. In any case, the 'souls-like' combat is a lot of fun. You have to be deliberate about your positioning, attacks, dodging, parrying, and blocking. There are also a lot of weapon options that you'll find pretty quickly, so if you're not all about the slow, two-handed claymore, maybe a one-handed wand with ranged attacks is more your speed. Bottom line, this game is exceptional in every aspect I've seen, and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. I rarely spend this much on a game I'm not super confident I'm going to enjoy, but this game is the best money I've spent on a game in a while.
I have Bled this game with Friends. Bled Solo. Thank you devs for the upgrade for any day one supporters <3 Cant Wait For 1.o!!! keep up the good work. 10/10 reccomend
I've truly fallen in love with this game. Every time I play, I discover something new, and that feeling is priceless. Thank you so much!
If Diablo and Dark Souls had a child, it'd probably look something like this. This game has a habit of making you think you're finally getting good, only to remind you that you're not. Combat is weighty, world is gorgeous, and exploration actually feels good. It's one of those games where dying just makes you want another attempt.
Less path of exile / diablo, more ... Zelda? Don't let the reviews saying the game is dark souls the arpg scare you away, it isn't anywhere near that difficult, and there is a surprising amount of content jammed into the game for EA.
