Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
It's NG, it's a good game and worth playing. I do think it's the weakest of the trilogy however. The last boss really is as bad as everyone says. I liked the premise of the story at first, but it was handled so badly. It's not even a fun kind of goofy, it's just predictable and boring with none of the characters acting like actual humans.
It's peak. This is a bit different from the two previous games but for me it was in a positive way. A true skill based game that unfortunately there is not equal ever since. While not perfect it truly became one of the best games I ever played. I also did enjoy the story. Highly recommended to true gamers that do enjoy deep mechanics and appreciate real and well put challenges.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I have already seen enough to give an accurate review on this piece of garbage. What would be the best NG game in the series (combat wise) by a country mile is absolutely taken apart by attrocious boss balancing, a focus on story in a trilogy where not even the people writing the story could force themselves to actually give a ♥♥♥♥ about that part, and the worlds worst designed healing system. TN saw the complaints about how easy Sigma 2 was, and went "hey what if we made damage taken by the player permanent!" (♥♥♥♥ design decision btw) TN saw the complaints about how NG1 and NG2's stories sucked, and went "hey what if we bastardized the (already very paper thin) characters of everyone and made a really ♥♥♥♥ Ninja Gaiden version of a Steven Seagal movie. (the result is absolute ass cutscenes) TN didn't see any complaints about not having that classic xbox 360 gritty Gears-of-Duty-Brown-Military-Shooter-Spec-Ops art style, but they went ahead and did that anyway (the end result is a campaign that has NONE of the charm and character of the previous 2 games) I hate to hate on this game, because the combat is genuinely FANTASTIC, words cannot describe how smooth it is, however everything else is a TRAINWRECK.
Beat the game and liked it , but it is by far the worst game of the 4 main titles (besides vanilla 3 which was just boring and lame). There are many moments when the combat is fun, most enemies and some bosses are actually fun, but some are just horrible is the worst ways. Alchemists - i doubt i have seen a regular enemy that i disliked as much, just bs. The double spider tanks fight was just pure visual vomit. I can see why 3 almost buried the franchise
We need more action games like this!
story is kinda ♥♥♥♥ and most of the bosses are terrible (especially that last boss). Probably the most satisfying combat for regular enemies, the masked man boss is pretty good. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like enemies turtling and being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or if you used a lot of healing items in ninja gaiden 1/2
Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but you can play as Kasumi so that's nice.
superior combat
Underrated piece of art
After dropping this game I tried to give it a second chance trying to give my best to find the positives of this game. Sadly I couldn't. The Good: - I would say this game has some really good improvements from NG2, like the animations of the moveset and the seamless reset strings you can do when doing launchers, landing attacks, and keep attacking without stopping a single moment. - Compared to NG2, in this game Ayane is suprisingly fun, most of her levels are very claustrophobic and their toolkit is very complete and fun even without upgrading her weapons. - The UT Spam is finally gone and to get an instant UT now you have to accumulate kills which makes the UTs feel powerful without having to invalidate the rest of the combat mechanics. - Enemies also may not be easily launched unless you weakened them enough, so the combat is more ground based like a proper beat'em up, so no more Izuna Drop spam either (cool for me, not so much for other people). - One thing that surprised me which I loved is a simple QoL when dying: No loading screen, no "you died" screen, no "respawn" prompt (unless you die bunch of times which will ask you if you want to switch difficulty, but after saying no it won't show up again); you pretty much re-spawn immediately after dying and this is insanely good. I still can't believe NG4 or many other CAGs can't understand that if you're easily dying you shouldn't put those long UI animations and prompts to respawn. Sadly, there goes the all positive side of the game, because the rest is just unbearable. - With the exception of Ayane's levels, the level design of this game is a downgrade from NG2 with some exceptions. NGB / Sigma 1 still remains king on this aspect. - The enemies have too much health, - QTEs everywhere. - The removal of healing items (the idea was cool but not properly implemented) - Many combat sections that were very easy but just an excuse to make the plot more important, which made them too long to deal with. - The bosses. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the bosses are horrific. Ninja Gaiden is known to have really bad bosses in the entire franchise but in this game they are by far the worst. I've never had so much anti-fun playing this franchise. I'd end this review with the following items: - This will be the only Ninja Gaiden game I won't beat on Master Ninja - The story sucks ass but I didn't mention anything about it because watching Ryu wanting to be a father look cute to me. - I didn't address the new mechanic Steel on Bones because although I didn't like it too much I didn't take much time to explore it either.
