Pretty deep mechanically, a lot of style and 2000's edgy humor and story, it's so much fun I love it. As a combo type of action game is cool, multiple weapons and unlockable combos/skills and when you beat the game you have more characters with their own depth and complexity (and even other game modes to play around), there's so much to do and so many surprises it makes it absolutely worth it. It's so easy to tell the love and effort put into this, extremely enjoyable, also the dev is pretty responsive to bug reports. 100% recommended. 100 % recomendado.
Heartless and Dreadful? More like... Heartless and Dreadfully Boring! I'm still going to complete this game, but after just an hour and a half I already feel the need to voice just how much I think it sucks. Loose controls with strange and unreliable attack inputs, poorly telegraphed enemy attacks, confusing to navigate stages with long sections of no action, screen-cluttering visual effects, characters that seem to never want to shut up, unsatisfying sound effects, this game has it all! The gameplay loop superficially resembles Devil May Cry in a handful of ways, but drops the ball in so many areas that it's just kind of sad.
easy recommend based on the EULA alone. just helps the game has strong presentation and is well made. incredibly refreshing to see at least one other person concerned with preservation or at the least knowing discord is NOT a home to ANYTHING besides your low tier spew among friends. there is so much inherently wrong with using discord the way people do and it's hard to believe we didn't learn this already with facebook logins for everything and other gross behaviors. I guess the people around now using discord aren't old enough to have engaged with terrible online practice. enjoy your first mistake and may it be your last. shame you have to hamstring the rest of the world by gatekeeping your BS project or community in some walled garden horse sht zone you absolute subhuman garbage. nexusmods you are next you absolute ckc suckers

Wearing its Devil May Cry inspiration on its sleeve, this game keeps all the fast-paced combo action fans of the franchise will be familiar with, but isn't afraid to carve its own identity with its unique premise and mechanical distinctions, making for a very satisfying game to master. At 7 dollars, well worth the price for anyone itching for a new game full of SSStylish combat.
The boss fights are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible
This is a really good game the combat is good and so are the graphics, there is quite a bit of talking and you need to read the warning at the start. I was confused as to were to go at the start but I found my way around, I would recommend this game to some people but not all its a good game dont get me wrong but it might not be for you I give it 7/10
Heartless & Dreadful is an excellent gem I highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the spectacle fighter genre, it is more than worth the tiny admittance fee. The gameplay is very deep with a lot of complexities to your moveset that you can seize to style really damn hard on your foes, featuring a robust set of weapons that outdoes Bayonetta, an above average story for a video game that I actually got attached to, many enemy types, and the coolest scaly this side of hell. The game's campaign is short, but very challenging, and offering many difficulties, some of which remix fights to have harder enemies, a staple of the series. There is additionally a Tower of Blood mode, 101 floors of non-stop combat, and a bonus secret level :3, leading to a wealth of replayability that will be sure to take up most of your time playing the game. And that's not even mentioning the 5 (at the time of writing) extra characters you unlock after beating the game, each bringing a different approach and style of combat that feel really fleshed out for their particular archetype, though they can take some time to adjust to. That does come to mention the biggest flaw of this game, that being that it doesn't have the same polish as most other spectacle fighters, movement has a few unintuitive properties, some attacks for some characters don't show right and can feel 'off', the bosses' telegraphs are hard to read and there's not much impact to hitting them, as well as enemies in general, so things can feel a little weightless. However, if you can push past it, it soon stops being a problem, and just becomes something you get used to, much like the game itself; It didn't 'click' for me until about halfway through the campaign, the floatiness was weird, the inertia seemed inconsistent, combos feel good enough. But as I acrued more weapons and got used to it, Heartless & Dreadful soon became one of my favourite games in the genre. And for the matter, I can assure you that this is no poor man's devil may cry, it really is a special game all of its own, with so much post-release content added despite the game selling so poorly compared to its contemporaries. It really is worth checking out, and there's even a demo that covers the first 2 levels if you're still unsure.
Whenever I come back to this game I realize How much the Dev cares. Its always improving from the loading screens to the content. Makes me happy I found this gem and I look forward to any other projects they have.
impressive 1 man devil may cry with a lot of depth and effort had to play around in the gigantic options menu to get it the way i like, but it was great after that
