It’s been several months since Nina defended the Rostro Racers in court, and Fledge City residents eagerly anticipate the next season of the home-grown streaming show hit: the magical girl sensation, Valkyrie: Sacred Feathers!
But when an on-set lover’s tiff takes a dark turn, Nina Aquila is tasked with defending Millia Nordin, the lead actress, in a murder case that defies explanation, even by the defendant herself.
North of the city, dissent grows as the Bikers of the Wastes are vanishing without a trace. Seeking answers, a lone rider saddles up for the long journey south, seeking the one man who she knows can help her.
With Millia in custody, tension on the streets of Fledge City rises as each night brings with it unnatural, unexplainable events; disappearances, explosions, tales of monsters sighted in dark alleyways. Set on a journey where present fiction echoes the truth of the past, can Nina find the strength buried within herself to search for answers, and rise as the hero that Fledge City needs?
Lore meets the law for a war-between-worlds, with Fledge City’s courtroom as the fulcrum about which fate will turn!
Feathers will fly, wings unfurl, and light will shine amid the darkness… But before that, there’s gonna be magic, monsters and a whole load of sparkles.

If all of what Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle was planned to be was in a single game, I might enjoy it. I think the episodic publishing format kills it, to some extent. Long story short, there is an excess of plot hooks without a lot of... resolution? Plot eyes? Conclusion? Indeed, the plot hooks in cases 1-3 got to me, which is why I bought this. I wanted to see if anything came of them, and the answer is.... No. Things were added to the plot hooks we already had, but it didn't feel like it built intrigue, just like even more things to make you go "oooo well I have to stick around to see what will happen next". If this wasn't being published episodically, I'd have hope that there would be some kind of conclusion planned and in store, but as of right now, I have no faith that anything will be resolved. This case contains its own minigame, like the card battles or rostro racers minigames in the previous cases, and it's by far the worst. Its a beat em up, in an engine that is very much not designed for beat em ups. I'm grateful that no achievements or progress is tied to the challenge mode, but I feared whenever a new beat em up stage would start. They're 2-4 minute diversions that are too frequent and poorly controlled. There are several graphical glitches specifically with text, including in the credits. The case itself is.... fine, but its weighed down by the plot hooks surrounding it and the horrible minigame. In a way I'm glad I disliked this so much instead of buying in and keeping my hopes up for entry after entry if the plot hooks continued. Much easier to say "Oh I see how they're writing this" and move on.
The thicc Defense Attorney Nina Aquila is back for a fourth adventure in NALE 4. This time, the theme is magical girl (Sailor Moon). NALE 4 improves on the already stellar first three games in every way, with one of the most well polished RPG Maker games you will ever find. Think Phoenix Wright meets genre parody means minigames. While NALE 4 has a standalone story, it can be best appreciated if you played the first three games first, as the meta narrative proceeds and some characters return. Don't skip this.
Step into the role of defense attorney Nina in her fourth case, where you'll collect evidence, question witnesses, and take on both courtroom showdowns and light Valkyrie-themed combat encounters. In this latest entry of this investigative series, players step back into the heels of Nina, a sharp-witted attorney with a knack for stumbling into bizarre mysteries. This time, the case begins at a television studio where a new season of a popular magical girl show is about to start filming. The series within the game features girls who bond with birds and transform into Valkyries. But what should be a fantasy production quickly becomes a very real tragedy when, during the filming of the first scene, an actor is seemingly incinerated on set. His co-star and wife is arrested for murder, and the mystery only deepens from there. Alongside her loyal assistant Dylan, Nina is pulled into a layered investigation that soon spirals far beyond the studio. Disappearances begin to stack up, including that of a biker gang with ties to Dylan’s past. While fans will recognize some faces and references to earlier titles in the series, the game is structured to accommodate newcomers as well. There’s enough context to make the relationships accessible, though returning players will certainly appreciate the added tidbits. Structurally, the game borrows from classic RPGs with a top-down view and simple controls. You can walk or dash (comes with an auto-dash so you don’t put a strain on your finger) through various locations, and a city map offers direct access to major areas. Navigation is smooth, thanks in part to a helpful compass, quick movement, and clear mission markers. Roads are often blocked due to construction or strange events, but there’s not much you can explore because of linear structure. The core gameplay revolves around exploring environments, speaking to witnesses, and collecting evidence. Hotspots are scattered throughout each scene, but nothing is marked. No icons appear when you're near an interactable object. This encourages a methodical approach, prompting players to investigate everything manually. While this can occasionally feel like item hunting, most interactions are short comments from Nina that enrich the world, offering snarky, insightful, or curious observations. Since you return to the same locations often, there’s no need to comb the area every single time. As clues accumulate, they’re stored under the “evidence” menu, which includes both physical items and statements gathered from conversations. Progress is linear, so you’ll always be alerted once you’ve found everything required to move forward. This prevents any backtracking or wasting time on that last piece of evidence. The game is all about using evidence in the courtroom. These segments are showdowns against the prosecutor where you listen to witness testimony, press for additional information, and present evidence to contradict lies or mistakes. Each statement can be dissected line by line, and it often takes careful reading and critical thinking to find the weak link. If you present the wrong evidence four times, it’s game over and back to the title screen, though the ability to save at any time takes away some of the guess-work and frustration. You keep going until you have found contradictions in all witnesses that are called to the stand, which means you’ll have to look around for more evidence. The entire game revolves one big case with several smaller threads, and you’ll go through six days. There are no collectibles or secrets, so you can’t miss anything. The bad news is that already used evidence doesn't go away, so when you return to court again, you'll have to scroll through every evidence collected so far. At the end, this can be overwhelming. To break up the text-heavy investigation and trial scenes, the game occasionally drops Nina into beat-em-up segments. Here, she transforms into a Valkyrie and battles enemies in simple, one-button combat sequences. These sections are already easy, but for those worried about difficulty, an easy mode ensures your health never drops. Since there are no bonuses for completing these fights on normal difficulty, the choice is entirely up to the player.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME. It is RARE that I get all of a games achievements, but I did with the first season, which means i can do it with the forth episode. And...If I do get all of a games achievements, then that means it is one of the BEST GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED. If you like the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games, then you'll love this game. These are seriously cheap for such a amazing experience. so,please,FOR THE LOVE OF GOD,G E T T H I S G A M E. (also get the first season) I can't wait for the next Episode! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET THESE GAMES (i also got this on release day, which has only happened once before)
When I played the first three NALE games, I would have never imagined that they could be topped. And yet, Tanuki-Sama has done it. Chapter IV takes everything that made the first season great and pushes it to the max. You're getting another gripping story, with the characters you know and love, and more twists and turns than my garden hose. 11/10 recommend - another labour of love from the team that deserves your attention!
Nina Aquila Chapter 4 is an incredible sequel (or maybe quadquel?). NALE C4 builds on the original, keeping you hooked by both tying up old plot threads and making you have more questions. It's take on the magical girl genre is great, and points out some the oft ignored ethical conundrums like "is it moral to enlist teenagers in a magic war?". The mechanics are similar to the first game in and out of court, however the "gimmick" of the chapter is well executed. TLDR: great continuation of the series, definitely worth playing and has me fiending for more. PS. Dylan Merlo my beloved :D
It's nuts how good this game is. Coming straight from the first three chapters (which were already quite good), you can clearly tell the dev improved by leaps and bounds. It's still the familiar NALE experience, but with under-the-hood improvements making it all that much better and with a story that gets more and more engrossing with every installment. To say I was positively surprised would be an understatement. You're doing yourself a disservice by overlooking this series, so pick it up already!
案件比第一季复杂很多,难度增加了,挺好的 如果能推出中文版就更好了
Difficult to figure out at certain points of the game, but that's what I've come to expect with the series! As always it's an amazing game and I'm excited for chapter V to come out!!! I've got a funny feeling about a "damn robot" and getting there...
This game is pretty good. I don't know how 4 chapters in I keep being baffled by the introduction of some new kind of magic.
