The game itself isn't bad, but I cannot recommend it knowing the absolute heartbreak the player will feel upon ending it on a cliffhanger without hope of a sequel. I wish I had read reviews prior to purchase so I could've saved myself the hurt. Other than that, the gameplay itself isn't very challenging. The story is really what motivates you to keep playing. I would have liked to see a bit more in terms of gameplay mechanics, maybe some cooperative strategy between the player and an NPC (Crash Twinsanity / We Were Here type stuff). The puzzles weren't bad, but a bit predictable like "Oh, another one of these". Overall, it wasn't a bad experience and was a fun way to spend some time. Just know you will not get the satisfaction of a conclusion. So while the story motivates you to keep playing through repetitive puzzles, it will not reward you for your endurance in the end.
I cannot recommend this game until the developer releases Part 2. It does end extremely abruptly and thus feels incomplete. It is devastating as a player to put so much effort in and be left hanging like this. It has been over 7 years since this game came out, WHERE IS PART 2?????
Cute puzzle game! jIt's probably geared to a younger crowd but I found it funny in addition to being a well put together game. I loved that it was fully voice acted and the game mechanics were different but fun!
A fun Kid Detective Adventure game in an eye catching, color saturated art style. It's biggest shortcoming is how much it leaves you wanting more. So many questions answered but with many more left open. I hope we get to visit the mysterious quiet town of Arthurton again soon to learn even more.
Overall I liked the writing and some of the puzzles (it got a little heavy on slow traversal/semi-backtracking in the second half). The art style is also very charming. One slight drawback is the collectibles - the idea is cute but what it ends up as is trying to avoid progressing the story and every turn to walk around every corner and looking for a button prompt to appear. Especially in some tenser sequences toward the end it really brings you out of the moment Additionally I can tell that the collectibles are going to get frustrating and the urge to just check a guide is going to be there as there is no way once you have completed the game to see which scenes/chapters you missed a collectible in. Needing to play through the entire game over and over combing through every scene for the last few you missed isn't something the gameplay is strong enough to support. The game also loses a lot of points on the ending, it doesn't feel like a complete game and whether the story feels satisfying depends on how things pan out if and when the next chapter happens. Until then can't really recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. The game doesn't take itself seriously; it has good humour, the way of telling the story was done well, and the voice acting was top notch. The story is more geared towards a younger audience, with just a few moments of slight peril and relatively easy puzzles, but that didn't get in the way of my enjoyment. All's left to desire is a sequel to continue the story. Unfortunately, the game ends on a cliffhanger!

The gameplay is deeply immersive, driven by a cast of characters who are instantly endearing yet impossible to forget. Visually, the art style is captivating; the distinct lighting and aesthetics offer a refreshing escape from the weight of our current world. While the cliffhanger ending leaves you desperate for answers—making me wish the full experience had been delivered all at once—the storytelling is so meticulous that it genuinely justifies the wait. It creates a brilliant tension: a gripping, suspenseful fear of what’s to come, perfectly balanced by the thrill of anticipation!!!!!!
The ending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks and I doubt we're ever getting a sequel to resolve things. Don't waste your time.
Отличный детективчик с недушными загадками,но концовка,конечно,лютый клифхэнгер.Рекомендую к прохождению,играется лампово и без напряга.
