Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nihilumbra by BeautiFun Games is a puzzle-platformer that manages to feel both mechanically inventive and emotionally reflective, blending traditional side-scrolling design with a quiet, philosophical narrative. It follows the journey of a being known as Born, who emerges from an all-consuming void and begins moving through a fragmented world while being relentlessly pursued by that same darkness. From the outset, the game establishes a tone that is more contemplative than dramatic, using its premise as a foundation for themes centered on identity, existence, and the tension between creation and oblivion. At a mechanical level, the game starts with familiar platforming elements—movement, jumping, and navigating hazards—but it quickly distinguishes itself through its defining system: the ability to manipulate the environment using colors. As players progress, they unlock different pigments that can be applied directly onto surfaces, each altering physics and interaction in meaningful ways. Blue reduces friction, allowing for high-speed sliding; green introduces elasticity, enabling bouncing traversal; brown slows movement and adds grip; red burns through obstacles; and yellow interacts with electricity. These abilities transform the environment into a flexible puzzle space, where solutions are not always immediately obvious but must be constructed through experimentation and understanding. What makes this system compelling is how naturally the game expands upon it. Early stages introduce each color in isolation, allowing players to grasp its function without overwhelming complexity. As the journey continues, however, the game begins layering these mechanics together, requiring players to combine multiple effects in precise ways. This progression feels organic, as each new challenge builds on prior knowledge rather than introducing entirely separate systems. The result is a steady increase in difficulty that feels fair and thoughtfully structured, encouraging players to think creatively without becoming overly convoluted. Beyond its mechanics, Nihilumbra places a strong emphasis on atmosphere. The visual design leans into a painterly, almost abstract style, with environments that shift in mood and tone as the player moves through different regions. The contrast between the vibrant colors used for gameplay and the darker, more subdued backgrounds reinforces both the mechanical and thematic aspects of the experience. There is a sense of fragility to the world, as if it exists in a delicate balance against the encroaching void, and this tension is reflected in both the art and the level design. The narrative is delivered through a constant stream of narration that accompanies the player throughout the game. This voice serves as both observer and commentator, offering reflections that range from poetic to philosophical. Rather than presenting a straightforward story, the game uses this narration to explore broader ideas about existence, fear, and inevitability. It rarely provides concrete answers, instead allowing players to interpret its meaning through context and progression. This approach adds a layer of depth that elevates the experience beyond its puzzles, giving it a sense of purpose that lingers after completion. While the game excels in many areas, it is not without its shortcomings. The platforming mechanics, though generally reliable, can occasionally feel less precise than ideal, leading to moments where failure feels slightly disconnected from player intention. Additionally, the main campaign is relatively brief, which may leave some players wanting a longer or more expansive journey. The inclusion of a more challenging post-game mode helps address this to some extent, offering a stricter test of the player’s understanding of the mechanics, but it does not fully compensate for the overall brevity. Even with these limitations, Nihilumbra remains a cohesive and memorable experience. It succeeds in merging gameplay and theme in a way that feels intentional rather than decorative, using its mechanics to reinforce its narrative ideas. It does not rely on spectacle or scale, but instead focuses on delivering a carefully crafted journey that is both engaging and introspective. In the end, Nihilumbra stands as a thoughtful entry in the puzzle-platformer genre, offering a blend of creativity, atmosphere, and subtle storytelling that sets it apart from more conventional titles. It may not be the most technically polished or expansive game, but its ability to combine meaningful ideas with inventive mechanics makes it a rewarding experience for those willing to engage with its slower, more reflective pace. art and soundtrack is breathtaking
Everything is perfect but the void mode is HELL.
Хорошая игра мучений!
Una mera sombra que debe hacer frente a desafiantes puzles para seguir avanzando mientras evita que el vacío la devore. Con su música relajante, es una buena elección para pasar un buen rato.
