[h1]Маленькая мрачная сказка с большим настроением[/h1] Pinstripe это короткое, но очень атмосферное инди про бывшего священника, который отправляется в странный ледяной ад искать свою дочь. В первую очередь игра цепляет не геймплеем, а визуалом, музыкой и общей меланхоличной подачей. Тут красивый мрачный стиль, приятная озвучка, странные персонажи и ощущение такой сказки для взрослых, где вроде всё немного мультяшное, но тема совсем не весёлая. По геймплею это простой 2D платформер с лёгкими головоломками, рогаткой, сбором предметов и небольшим исследованием локаций. Ничего сверхсложного или революционного тут нет, но всё работает аккуратно и не душит. При этом для полного открытия контента одного прохождения мало: игру придётся пройти несколько раз, чтобы разблокировать дополнительные скины и оружие. Благо сама она короткая, поэтому это не превращается в пытку. Минусы тоже есть: местами история кажется слишком короткой, некоторые вещи остаются недосказанными, а сам геймплей довольно базовый. Но для такого формата это скорее не проблема, а часть игры. Pinstripe оставляет после себя приятное послевкусие, выглядит душевно и запоминается больше, чем многие более длинные проекты. Однозначно рекомендую, если хочется мрачную, красивую и не слишком затянутую инди-историю на пару часов.

Here, "Hell" looks like an illustration by Tim Burton who drank too much cold coffee: it's gray, it's frozen, and it's populated by creatures in desperate need of a hug or a therapist. Why it's worth playing (through the eyes of the community): "Nightmare Before Christmas" vibe: Visually, the game is a gem. Every frame looks hand-painted. If you're the type who can sit in one place for 5 minutes just to look at the background and listen to the haunting music, you'll love it. Teddy and Bo: You play the role of a former minister (quite unlikeable at first) who is looking for his daughter. Their relationship, although presented in fragments, is heartbreaking by the end. It's not just a game about platforming, regret, and how far you'll go to fix a mistake. The weird humor: While the story is tragic, the dialogue is surprisingly funny and sarcastic. It's the kind of humor that makes you grin while wondering if it's moral to laugh in Hell. What might annoy you: It's shorter than a line at the ANAF: You can finish it in 2-3 hours. If you get it at full price, you might feel a little bit of a dent in your wallet. Advice from Steam veterans: get it on sale. "Sunday" gameplay: Don't expect epic fights or brain-frying puzzles. It's a relaxed (sometimes even too simple) game, where the atmosphere does all the heavy lifting. My "Steam-style" conclusion: Pinstripe is like a bedtime story read by a slightly overly cynical person. Good artstyle and great music. Though the games lacks in terms of gameplay. The puzzles sometimes are rather annyoing, as you have to spend more time finding the puzzle than solving it. One can clearly see, that the game was made by someone new to gamedev, as the perspective of a new player is not considered. Also the game sometimes freezes or crashes for me for some reason. The constant farts and burps in this game are just terrible. Feels like a 10year old made this. Unfortunatly not a game for me.

I really wanted to love this game, but sadly, I did not. It was very buggy for me, the achievements didn't register until the last 30 mins so I missed out on a lot. The game itself is very nice, the animation is great, the voice acting and overall atmosphere was nice. Great storyline and huge potential but it fell quite flat and short. The combat is non-existent and so are the puzzles. It just never clicked with me, it wasn't fun and it just felt empty. Did not get that feeling of satisfaction upon completion. Might just be me -and to be fair- I shouldn't be complaining as I picked it up for $1.50, but I def would recommend to only purchase on deep discount just in case it doesn't sit well with you either.

Че-то не то с этой игрой. Поначалу увлекла, первые минут 5)) а потом тут же создала какие-то непонятки с нарративом и головоломками, со вторыми в большей степени конечно же. Напоминает историю с Мистом, когда вроде бы всё есть, а что, где, когда, куда и для чего надо делать - интуиция давай до свидания. Тут кто-то жаловался, что собирать и коллекционировать нечего, ну что, поздравляю, теперь собирай всякие секретные пленки да ключи, серебряные и золотые, открывать-то двери надо, вот только чтобы это сделать, надо где-то найти какую-то лампочку, которая неизвестно где находится, а прыгнуть персонаж может только на строго нарисованные дизайнером предметы, которые тоже тут расположены как будто бы с вариантом на будущее, бесконечно прыгай туда-сюда в высоту, доконало минут за 40, хотя игра, по заверениям отзывов, проходится часа за 3. На сюжет вообще по барабану сразу становится, чего мы такого не видали, даже если имеются какие-то выборы при взаимодействии со встреченными вами персонажами и будут твисты. В общем, очень странно всё, тут даже не весь текст переведен на русский, финиш. 550 рубасов за такую игру дорого, хотя стилистически и по динамике она очень легко воспринимается. Бэклог, принимай очередного гостя.

I enjoyed it so much that I watched all the credits at the end because I didn't want to get off the game yet :). Great game, too bad it took me so long to get around to playing it.

10/10 I love the art style it's one of my favorites. The voice acting was lovely and the there was enough challenges to keep it interesting and not to easy. The flow of the game was nice and never got boring. This game makes it a nice game to relax to and unwind. =^_^=
