Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I’ve been playing Nightingale and I don’t know… I really wanted to like it more than I actually do. At first, it looks amazing. The whole vibe is super unique and the world feels different from most survival games, which got me excited. But after a while, it just started to feel kind of boring. I kept doing the same things over and over—collecting stuff, crafting, repeat—and it didn’t really feel rewarding. Exploring should be the fun part, but a lot of the time it just feels empty, like there’s not much pulling me forward. And some parts of the game still feel unfinished or a bit clunky, which makes it harder to stay into it. It’s not terrible, it just feels like it has a lot of potential that isn’t fully there yet. I might come back to it later after more updates, but right now it’s kinda mid for me.
played it at launch Been waiting for this game to leave early Access I only just found out they're working on other games What they should be doing is focusing on this game and making it more better not abandon it :(
Game starts out interesting but is hollow with just enough shell to make people spend tens of hours before they realize the trap they've stepped into. Side quests are repetitive, the game has an abrupt ending that leaves you, the MC, unhappy and the Main Quest remains unresolved. It's like the whole writing team was fired and the Devs just stitched what they had together, and threw a final boss at you. Game of Thrones level of garbage ending that doesn't match the rest of the story. I'd refund this half baked game if I could but all I can do is uninstall and forget it exists. The only positive things I can say is that it's beautiful, has an interesting start, and is more finished than the infamous "Star Forge" in Steams early days. Don't buy this, go spend your money on Enshrouded instead if you want this kind of game.
I hope the dev's return to this game, I truly hate seeing great potential game's just be left in a barren state. You now have to pay for a server, even to just play in multiplayer: Can't really recommend a game that isn't flushed out enough, given the price. I'd rather play a free to play game at that point, like warframe. The grind is pretty similiar, given how rare some creatures bone's, fiber and meat's are. But i'm not seeing the same payout in terms of longevity and time invested. Want to waste your time on this game without a team developing it, go ahead. The only thing you can do realistically is to farm for that "perfect" stew, or bone or fiber. It mean's very little if that's all you can really do.
Does it suck that it hasn't updated for a while? Hell yes. But is it fun as f@ck to play as is? Yes, also. Don't rob yourself of a super unique survival crafter because of other people's comments. I'm sure it'll get done, but in the meantime, I've played to the end 3 times, each time, no regrets. I can't wait to finished my 0.8v run- through and wait for 1.0 some day - but till then, im not going to rob myself from a great game. Anyways, why this game is great? I think it's the crafting to be honest. There's SO many materials, each affecting a stat depending on what you use, and combine the material with. The combat is obviously jank, but in a fun 2000's way. The BGM? Epic - not over compensated, just simply "distinguished". The theme is on-point steam-punk era. Funny moments happen all the time due to rag-doll physics. The bosses can be frustrating, and you gotta use your head over-all. Enjoy!
Nightingale is an example of what is so very wrong with the videogame industry. I find Nightingale to be unique in the artistic style, the story developments, and the cooperative play. Unfortunately, the game has not been given any proper support since it was released. The "Bug Report" tools do not even exist and the game does have critical game play bugs. Updates happen but nothing of any significance or value is changed in any update. The owners appear to have completely abandoned the project and offer no sign of remorse for the audience. Nightingale could rival games like No Man's Sky, Warframe/Soulframe, Elden Ring, and other similar High Fantasy Action Adventure Co-Op games if the company simply put real effort into the core concepts they have already developed. Add the bug reporting tools, fix the bugs, add animals and enemies, open MMO style servers to host, and give the game actual attention (advertising). Tragically, I will not be recommending Nightingale to anyone until (if) the abandonment ends. I doubt I will ever be editing this review given the company's tendencies towards profit over players.
A good idea with decent bones that was never realized, and is now abandoned. The building is pretty at first, but deceptively shallow and deeply frustrating to work with. Farming was very micro and labour intensive, but also neccesary. All of the interesting and good ideas ended up being non-impactful or kind of frustrating. The card system seemed cool, but it ended up just being something to keep track of, not something cool to have fun messing with. Going to different worlds sounded super cool, but being away from base and constantly disconnecting from coop partner made us frustrated to use the portals. By far the best feature is the crafting system. I enjoyed hunting specific types of creatures to make the perfect item (you get to choose which type of cloth / leather goes into the material of a coat, what kind of metal for its buttons, etc, each giving their own state bonuses). If you get this cheap enough, you can have fun exploring a pretty world and making some cool items, but ultimately it will be mechanically disappointing and fizzle out. Could have been great but as is its probably not worth your time. I would suggest Enshrouded or Soul Mask over this.
