i liked it got a copy through a friend and its a nice game to play here and there and fun with friends, and i found my self going back trying beat my total kills i got to get higher

I got this game for free directly from the creator WRF Studios and I was skeptical of the gameplay since I have seen badly done top down or really well done. This one is 100% well done for the top down standpoint. I had a ton of fun with the running around and unlocking the characters. The maps were reasonably challenging and hard mode does provide more of a challenge. A lot of early release games or new games that launch these days seem to have a lot of balancing issues or graphical problems. This game does have some minor graphic issues, too much flashing or should have an option to turn that off. And sometimes the FPS fluctuates too much (even after reducing aspect ratio and lowering graphics). I was very impressed that this game is controller ready at launch day! I had a lot of fun using controller to play, can tell you it'll be 1000% better than mouse/keyboard that way. Overall, already have a few friends wanting to get in on the action so I can finally try co-op. 10/10 recommend this game.

Fun, cheap game with plenty of characters and upgrades. Just a nice easy game you can turn your brain off and relax, don't have to think too hard. If you're a fan of the genre you'll like it

I'm not typically into action rogue likes but I actually really enjoyed this game! I'm not very good at this type of game but I picked it up easily. The rules, concept, and controls aren't complicated. The dev added achievements, and it's compatible with Steam Deck. Heck yea.

I wish there was a middle ground/wait until later option for reviews. Controller support is brutal, but mouse aim is also brutally bad. Later into levels (Like 10min+) the game REALLY needs optimisation, tried on two systems, a Ryzen 5950X/Geforce 4090 and a Ryzen 7800X/3080TI, both still have no issues with AAA games, but they were choking, horrible FPS drops and lag after a point. It almost feels like the animations from attacks/enemies don't go away properly or something. There's a good game buried under here, it just needs a handful of fixes and work, the fact I can jump is why this game gets a positive rating atm, but hopefully with continued fixes to player feel and optimisation can occur this will be a solid vampire survivor like, with co-op.
