bought because i thought it was cool waited months did not read it was sub title only got annoyed i had to read so i gave up playing this game. if someone knows of a mod to have english speaking let me know
Most definitely aimed towards the younger audience, it's a very naive story about friendship and forgiveness which isn't bad but isn't quite my taste. Still I enjoyed the visuals as they are quite Studio Ghibli-esque and audio wasn't half bad either. Gameplay is quite a grind and seeing the same enemy over and over is a bit demoralising. I wouldn't recommend doing a 100% clear like I did, it's not really worth it. I'd play the side stories you enjoy and complete the main quest and you'll probably end still feeling sweet. (Also avoid the DLC, it's just endless JRPG grinding!)

I have played through the first 3 chapters and don't plan to play any more. Evan starts off the game as a failed entitled king who didn't rule for the good of anyone and got overthrown. You then are expected to believe that he's going to now conquer the whole world and be a good ruler? I find him to bounce between annoying and generic world conquering type except for the fact he was already king and failed at it. This game doesn't retain the charm from the first game although it tries to copy the surface level elements feeling like a cheap rip off of the original property. Although combat is definitely improved between installments that's the only upgrade and you probably played the first game for its lovable characters, world and story none of which are preserved.
Very odd plot. I didn't care much for the end of the game but it gave me many hours of fun.

Вроде как поиграл какое-то время, вроде как понял что к чему, а такое ощущение — что не понял. Вплоть до 7 главы меня преследовали эти мысли, я закрывал на это глаза, но на 8 главе моё терпение лопнуло Надоело. Через месяцок другой надо будет попробовать ещё разок, а пока — перекур
Just an amazing game. Great storytelling and characters. I specifically love how each one have their own narrative voice, even without it saying who says what you would know who it was. The character of this game is amazing, and something about the art and music make it feel so nostalgic. Seriously, every place, character, title card is stunning. Additionally, the optimism and hopefullness of our characters, specifically Evan, feels so genuine, you can't help but have your heart warmed. Especially in this era we're in, Evan's mission and unwavering belief in a better and more peaceful world is an amazing story of hope. Mechanics wise, they abundent and decently complex, however none feel shallow to me, and work well with the genre of game. I think they are integrated really well and i think for this kind of game the difficulty is great. I would love to see more puzzles, I loved the one with the story and falling platforms, but I am still early on. I also think that so far the kingdom building aspect is really cool. I got this game during one of the steam sales, and while the price tag is a little steep, I think even at it;s normal price its completly worth every penny.
É um jogo que me deixou dividido, as vezes ele parece maçante demais pela quantidade enorme de quests e na maioria delas quests bobas do tipo: pega X item em X lugar e leve até X npc, mate X inimigo e tudo com uma seta orientando no mapa. Então é bem fácil, o sistema de fast travel ajuda demais, vc pode ir para qualquer lugar de forma fácil e rápida então isso me motivou a fazer mais de 150 quests secundárias, pq apesar de fácil e repetitivo pelo menos é rápido e isso foi o que me motivou a continuar. O jogo tem um sistema onde vc precisa gerenciar um reino, vc precisa construir edificações especificas, recrutar trabalhadores, e fazer pesquisas, pois cada edificação do seu reino tem um propósito, tem o prédio de melhoria de armas, melhoria de armaduras, melhoria de magias e etc.. e com as pesquisas feitas pelos npcs trabalhadores vc consegue desenvolver itens, magias e ganhar habilidades especiais que deixam o jogo ainda mais fácil para vc concluir seus objetivos.. então isso foi o que me prendeu nele pois eu achei esse sistema legal e acabei upando o meu reino até o nível máximo kk

I don't think there's words that can describe this game. If you watched a ghibli film you know what to expect. The combat does start off basic. But, as you continued before chapter 3 can begin. The game really starts so show how even in 2025 it has more then enough punches to make it worth playing. I couldn't praise this game enough or recommend this game more then I possibly could.
This is my favourite game of all time!!! The music and art is incredible!
