Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I actually stumbled upon this gem through a friend getting aggravated and uninstalling it… I also got it on sale recently so to me it’s 1,000,000 worth the price it’s a great game. The story has been really enjoyable so far and it seems like it is pretty grindy but honestly the vibes are so immaculate I could farm in this game for days. The combat is a little janky I mainly use Oliver and team to heal familiars and do an occasional spell but it’s fun to learn and really isn’t hard at all until later into end game
This game played an incredibly important role in my childhood and is frankly the only reason I even got into JRPGs in the first place. It has a gorgeous artsyle, fantastic soundtrack, one of the most unique battle systems I have ever seen in a JRPG, and some of the best writing I've seen from any game in general. Everything seems tailor made for a nigh-flawless experience. From the beautiful, hand-drawn animated cutscenes to the fantastic score made by Joe Hisaishi himself, it's almost perfect. Key word: *almost* This game has some of the worst AI I have ever seen in any game ever. The party members will constantly and consistently make mind-numbingly stupid decisions, get themselves killed repeatedly, and overall be a detriment. And it isn't until you get access to the all-out commands that they are even remotely useful. Until then, you can expect them to be not only useless, but often-times a liability. Aside from this, there are little things that can be a bit annoying at times. Oliver moves incredibly slow most of the time and even after upgrading it doesn't get much better. Some of the sidequests are downright cruel with the requirements and have taken me hours to complete. The familiar capturing system is one of the worst monster catching mechanics I had ever seen in any game ever. And a lot of completion boils down to constantly throwing yourself at the same monsters over and over again until you finally get the drop you need to craft something thats weaker than what you can buy with guilders. (Nevermind the 200+ familiars that require you to deal with the abysmal monster catching mechanics I just mentioned.) it's an incredible game all-in-all and I'd say it's one of the greatest creative pieces I had ever seen. Flaws aside, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a masterpiece and absolutely worth your time.
This is going to be opposite of most probably but I can't get through the first hour of the game without uninstalling. The dialogue is so ignorant and pointless in it's explanation of why things work the way they do and often contradicts itself. It seems clear they had an incredible art style and decent rpg mechanics but no one to write a story to explain the lore or make it make sense to anyone older than four or five. The writing is absolutely terrible and childish and cringe inducing and there is so so much of it to wade through. This is a me thing most likely as almost all Japanese stories make me want to punch a literature professor and ask him why.
SLOG. The combat animations are NOT skippable and you will be forced to watch the same skill animations for the 100th time. Furthermore, your allies' AI is dumb as bricks. The creature-collecting aspect of this game is too RNG, especially considering you have side quests that require you to tame certain familiars. Combat system is not enjoyable enough for me to grind through this bs. Apparently in the original game you could do things to influence taming, idk why they got rid of this in remastered.
Mia Khalifa is the greatest mornstar
