(Kinda silly really.) ⭐️ The VR experience is brilliant![/th]

[th]THE UNIQUES: 💎 VR is a must here! 💎 Learning about new fears.[/th]

[th]PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS: 💼 Indie. 💼 Psychological Horror. 💼 Puzzles.[/th]

[th]PROS: + It really gives you a good idea on how some people feel around you and just because you don't suffer from these traumas, doesn't mean they don't either.[/th]

[th]+ It's original! Searching through someones trauma and solving the root of the problem, I've never experienced a game quite like this before.[/th]

[th]+ How the mood can change while you're inside someones head, it's pretty sinister and I felt the horrors inside of them.[/th]

[th]+ The puzzles are very creative in a messed up kinda way.[/th]

[th]CONS: - The controls aren't the best, it's definitely recommend to play on keyboard & mouse or in VR.[/th]

[th]- You're set to one speed, and that speed is pretty darn slow, this might be for the VR users but surely having the option to run wouldn't hurt.[/th]

[th]- I wouldn't class this as a horror, not once did I have any sense of fear, maybe this is because I don't have any of these traumas but i'm leaning more towards that they failed to make this scary, but again, this might be different in VR.[/th]

[th]VERDICT: I'm a HUGE horror fanatic, I've had my rounds of scary and this doesn't even hit my top 20, that's not me discrediting the devs. I enjoyed what the game offers, even if the content is lacking, there's only 4 patients to help and they can be finished in 1.5hrs which is no time at all. The angle is probably better if played in the VR world but from a controller/keyboard & mouse player. The patients can be finished quickly with not much else to do afterwards. Again, I enjoyed my run and felt like they got the traumas spot on from what I've researched, there's a new+ which allows you to go back into the patients head to find items that relate to their fears but honestly, it's not worth experiencing a second time. It worth it's asking price and if they add more content i'd definitely change my score. Total Score = 58/100.[/th]

[th]GAMEPLAY: The players takes over the role of an expert that was recently hired by the Neurostalgia Institute to treat their patients in a mind jacking process known as neuroprobing. Every patient there suffers from a form of repressed mental trauma. In order to help them resolve their issues, the player performs neuroprobing to obtain the recollections of the repressed memories so that the trauma can be cured. By advancing through and being nearer to the goal, things around the player change in hostile ways as their minds fight back ■■■■■□□□□□ 5 / 10 The 4th patient definitely disturbed me the most.[/th]

[th]RECOMMEDED SPECS: OS: Windows 8 or better Processor: i7 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 750 TI Storage: 5 GB available space[/th]

A very cool and beautiful title. You can play it with the feedback response or not so you're not locked out of playing it if you don't want to bother with that. It does add a layer to the game, (Unless you're a stone cold ♥♥♥♥♥ like me. Jumpscares? More like jumpbores. :P) but if you're not in the mood to be overly stimulated with horror gimmicks, the game stands alone without it incredibly. What really stood out to me was the visual storytelling. I also think they handled each session of trauma pretty ok. Definitely appreciate the trigger warning in the beginning even if they didn't mention the suicide. They did mention how the game isn't FDA regulated which I thought was.. odd. Hadn't ever seen that before. lol My one biggest complaint about this game was the collectathon after you beat all the cases. Like... Absolutely unnecessary to have to restart them to find all the things. Could have absolutely been done as you went through the first time, with the ability to revisit areas that you missed something in. Having to play through again just to do all that was icky. So um... yeah! Review over and out! lol
Sono d'accordo con il grande MOLLUSCO VOLANTE. Debbo però discernere ciò che vedo a schermo. Scherzo , ho capito tutto. Bel trip.
Excellent. The concept is brilliant. The execution is well done. With Virtual Reality Super Sampling on it looks great. It's a bigger game than you might think. It has some truly creepy and disturbing areas. I will say that at first I was a little confused. When I had the first five photos, I just assumed I had to put all five of those in order. It took me awhile to grasp that one of the photos was disappearing when I put it in the right spot, then I had to back to a different area I thought was completed, again, for things to advance. It was mentioned that things might change, but I thought at first, I only had five pics, because it was a sample patient. But I figured all that out and loved the overall game. I wouldn't be surprised if there have been some who did not, got stuck, gave up. Amazing game, really creative creepy sections in some ares. Some reasons to go through again or just come back to hang out and chill. Rock on!
I really would have liked this game if it wasn't for the fact that you end up being forced to play it at least twice to get all the achievements and "complete the neuromapping". This only feels as a lame way to extend playtime since it doesn't add much to the experience. It is such a shame because the concept inherits some powerful ideas from SF classics as Zelazny's The Dream Master or Cadigan's Mindplayers, and the game mechanics are very interesting.
