About
No Son Of Mine is a survival horror game focused on combat, stealth, exploration, puzzle solving and uncovering a gruesome mystery.
Your job is to find the truth, before he finds you. You will be hunted. You will be terrorized. Can you survive?
He's intelligent, unpredictable, deadly and cruel. He will stalk and terrorize you. But maybe there is more to him than meets the eye...
Despite being armed with the best combat technology money can buy - THE CB 9000, as well as other useful tools,
it is advised that you avoid dark areas and hide immediately if the lights go out. Or prepare for a fight, if you're brave enough.
Your enemy is unpredictable and can attack at any moment, from unexpected places. Utilize in-game mechanics which may give you an
early warning of impending doom.
No Son Of Mine does not hold your hand, it's aimed at players who enjoy a challenge, but you have what it takes to survive.
Pay attention to your surroundings and don't panic. Good luck.

Reviews
I usually don't write reviews, but this game was too good not to write about. First off, this game was written and developed by one person and looks/plays better than most indie horror titles out there! The story was so brutal, it left my audience of my stream and myself speechless after finding out what REALLY happened, it's so messed up in the best way possible! Normal difficulty was pretty difficult on it's own and when I tried to do the harder difficulties, I couldn't believe that some of the survivability features were not available making it almost impossible to beat! You can see that in the Achievements, no one has beat DEMENTED difficulty yet. Lastly, I want to thank the Developer, Randy, for coming by my stream and watching my whole play through/reactions which I feel he enjoyed. I look forward to checking out your future games that he develops. I recommend this game for sure to any horror fan that likes great graphics, a brutal story and likes a challenge!
Ok, this is a really good horror game BUT the boss fight at the end wasn't for me. The whole game has amazing graphics, artstyle and mechanics. I loved to explore, solve puzzles and hide/fight. And then it ends in a dark room with random attacks......meh =( Without the last fight 9/10
No Son of Mine is a truly suspenseful survival horror experience. The gameplay involves exploring for clues and items while trying to survive The Boy. It's fun, challenging, unpredictable and downright unnerving at times. The story unravels organically as you play and the ending is quite a shock. The higher difficultly levels continue to provide an entertaining experience even after many hours of playtime. Pretty amazing for a solo indie dev. If you love survival horror games, don't miss out on this little gem.
Definitely recommend this game. I was fortunate enough to play the demo last year and have been waiting for the full game to drop! The controls are simple to learn, and while the combat does take some getting used to, once you figure it out it makes the game more even enjoyable. The whole aura and ambiance of the game kept me on edge for my entire play through! Well done!
TLDR? No Son Of Mine is a game that I encourage everyone to give a shot Out of all the games I have played over the years No Son Of Mine is one that truly sticks out for many reasons. No Son of Mine dose not hold your hand. What I mean by this is it will get you the essentials and describe what you need to know but after that you're on your own kid. The difficulty is also no joke if you are unprepared I mean while you can speed run this I highly recommend you search for resources to help you out I mean even I struggled on a Normal play through or two. INSANE at least allows you to slip up once but if you dare try DEMENTED you will need to be on your A game the entire time. The game also runs flawlessly ensuring a good time for people on all devices while still looking pretty. And the sound track is one to not be played over it knows when its time to play and when it does it shines through.
Enjoyable title. Could use some quality of life with maybe keys saying what door they are for as a small hint because the areas in this game are huge. You are going to be doing a lot of walking around and interacting with doors you are unable to open. Would have loved it a lot more if the areas were smaller and more streamlined for example the walk to the final boss is long for no reason, you can barely see anything and nothing of interest happens. Or you are going from 1 house to find a note about a certain area, go to that area for the key to that house...walk back. This takes a long time and literally nothing happens aside from the usual enemy 'stalking' you. It felt like padding. Maybe it is to build up tension but it just made me yawn as it was just another long walk. Game is able to distinguish itself from a lot of other 3D horror games with its story which was enjoyable and the weapon mechanic felt new. For that reason I will give it a rec, pick it up on a sale.
De eigenaren van deze game zijn niet netjes met het handelen naar de medewerkers.. Ik heb meegeholpen met de game en hebben zonder pardon mij eruit geflikkerd en een dikke middelvinger opgestoken. Ik support dit soort mensen niet.
Very scary game I thought I was gonna ♥♥♥♥ myself most of the time and a great story!. Definitely reccomend it to all horror gamers who like a challenge.
The difficulty of this game is quite high especially when increasing it into INSANE and demented that ♥♥♥♥ will always send shivers down my spines especially demented losing all your progress due to one mistake is adrenaline inducing as ♥♥♥♥ this game always gave me that.
What an experience this have been! I adore horror games with a good story, this has been one. It doesn't outright read out to you what is, but as you complete the game, you'll get a good understanding. Gameplay wise, this is not just going to be a walking simulator, you do have some action to participate in to survive. I'm not talking about SHIFT+W and running for your life, I tried, I died, it doesn't work this way. I would have liked more things to interact with that allowed me to build up the story, well basically that'll just set the gameplay longer which works very well for me. The graphics are to-date, it gets really dark sometimes, I wish the flashlight could be abit brighter, but it didn't matter cos there's not going to be the usual jumpscares that you'll miss just because it's too dark to see. Anxiety comes in other ways. This game has got 3 difficulty levels, even at normal i think I broke a nail just to complete it. I lost count how many times I died. If you are tad bored of puzzles-only horror game and love some bit of action, I'd say give this a try.
