NeverBound is the gravity-shifting shooter that brings you mind-bending combat and puzzles in multi-gravity environments. You are as dangerous from below as you are from above. The rules have changed. High ground is relative.

Game is not finished and abandoned. Last update was in 2019 and nothing more happened.
i haven't played much of the game at the time that i write this review but from what i have seen so far the game works great. My pc is a low end gaming laptop with a 1060 3 gb ram for vr and this game runs without any issues. the weapons feel great and have a nice kick to them and while the AI isnt too special the fact that you can switch the surface you are standing on gives this game a whole new way of thinking. But the best part of this game are the grenades, these little balls of certain doom give you the ability to change their gravity setting enabeling you to throw them at a guy standing on the ceiling below you. the freedom is insane with those (but so is the blast radius so be carefull). all in all i would love to see this game be more popular as in my eyes it is a hidden gem. but not all is positive. in the short while that i have played this game the floor gave way multiple times seemingly out of the blue. idk what caused it but you can notice that the early acces badge is required! all in all 8/10
Early Access Review - Oculus Rift + Touch
Defying the laws of physics has never been so fun until now. NeverBound's take on VR shooters is a unique one, breaking itself away your typical run and gun gameplay. Gravity is a tool at your disposable and the shifting perspectives present you with new, awesome possibilities. The devs are active and are very receptive to feedback - I applaud them. I look forward to what else they come up with.
Twist and turn to fight your enemies! You can be upside down or right side up to fight your foes! This game has fun puzzles and fun combat! Have high hopes for this game! https://youtu.be/n2J4Nt3dG2M
Easily one of the most unique shooters in VR. If you don't have any major issues with motion sickness in VR this is a must have. These kinds of games are what really take gaming to the next level. I'ts nice to see some devs not get scared of trying out of the box ideas in VR. Multiple gravity plane gameplay is amazing in VR and having a the combo smooth locomotion and teleport to shift to multiple planes of gravity is extremely satisfying.
This game is definitely original due to the level design and gravity game mechanic. It's like Descent but instead of a ship, you're a soldier. The graphics are good and gun play is cool. The only issue I had is with nausea. It's definitely related to changing gravity. I can't play this game for more than 20 minutes without getting sick.
It's definitely for people with VR legs but it's a pretty fun shooter, especially for it's current sale price.
Mediocre shooting game with limited content, worth getting on discount. Gun sights seem to be wildly misaligned. Controller configs are lacking. Got stuck with movement bugs since the very first map.
