About

Find six hidden hashes across the dark web, decrypt them, and break into the Killbyte's Vault. Not every site has them. Not every clue is honest. And not everyone wants you alive.
Beware: The Hitman, SWAT, Dan, and Maria, Killbyte’s on-air predators, will stalk, dox, raid, and mislead you in real time. Every move you make becomes part of the show.
The Hitman – Enters if you forget your entrance unlocked for too long. Manage your space. Keep the entrance locked. If he gets in, it’s already your mistake.
SWAT – Storms in whenever you have more than six unreported anomalies. You must report anomalies and be “in the clear,” or they arrest you for murder—you’re being framed, and your negligence is their excuse.
Dan (Rooftop) – Play his game. Get closer, hold your ground, wait for his breath, and he’ll be gone. Flinch or rush it, and you lose control of the encounter.
Maria (by the Elevator) – Wants a game of proximity. Get close, let her catch you, then escape her choke. It’s a test of nerve and timing, not distance.
Dark-Web Hunt – Browse in-game dark-web sites and locate all 6 hidden hashes to breach the Killbyte's Vault.
Forensic Viewing – Watch the cult’s (in game engine) snuff videos and scrub frames, audio, and metadata to gather clues.
Crypto Wallet Access – Use an in-game fictional crypto wallet to pay for gates, memberships, and tools across different sites. For the best immersion.
Drone Router Drop – Order a burner router by drone to rotate your setup and stay “clean” while investigating.
Active Threats – SWAT, Hitman, Dan, and Maria each follow strict rules you can learn and counter, ignore them at your peril.
Anomaly Reporting System – Track and report CCTV anomalies to keep your count low and avoid raids.
Wireless Maintenance – Repair and align your wireless antenna to maintain stable, clean connections.
Original OST – A tense, original score that ratchets up dread and focus.
Live-Action Performances – Original characters portrayed by live-action actors, blended with in-engine scenes.
NETBREAK offers a 1.5 to 2 hour horror puzzle experience. You dig through an in game dark web, study disturbing clips for clues, and use grounded tools like a crypto wallet, a drone delivered router, and CCTV anomaly reporting while the Hitman, SWAT, Dan, and Maria push back. Logical puzzles and a spine chilling story keep the tension high and make sure every player experiences the twisted ending.

worst game ive ever played the idea is nice just a straight idea copy of Welcome to the Game 1 and 2 and Menu style from resident evil but it runs poorly and the game has so many glitches that i couldnt open one page and that while i was doing the tutorial i got softlocked and it straight put me into the game ( skipping tutorial ) while that the payment worked only once, i liked the story but it was just confusing to do just to get over the 2 hour refund mark so you cant refund ( i personally dont mind but it wasent clear what to do in the tapes ) the game is not scary at all the design is nice but ingame its just a normal unity game, Killers are unclear what to do i would give it another try if the developer would fix those glitches. its a 4 / 10 for me just because it got poorly made it has potential but nothing. and translation issues ( but this mostly just using a translator )
不太好玩
Cheap version of wttg
Pretty good game inspiried by WTTG2 and dead signal . Pretty hardcore
I liked this game, it is a lean and mean experience that shows the devs love to the concept of the dark web and all the disturbing aspects of it. I very easily glossed over some of the less polished aspects because at the end of the day it is a solo dev effort and if anything it gives Netbreak a very unique charm. Really cool and somber atmosphere and I greatly enjoyed walking around the PCs apartment and around , very noir. My only nitpicky thoughts would be perhaps for the game to be a bit more generous with the checkpoints, as on my first walkthrough I wanted to take a break but the game hadn’t saved as I didn’t look at all the videos on the laptop. For the price it has is definitely worth playing over an evening , I don’t find it particularly punishing but just challenging enough to keep you on your toes and there’s a nice variety in minigames and little storylines.
EDIT: Okay, played a few hours, and to be honest, it's more frustrating than it is fun. It isn't a bad game, but it definitely has some bad features. This is where I wish Steam reviews had a neutral review or something similar. I'm giving a positive because this guy pays actors for his game instead of AI. Props. - There is absolutely 0 cooldowns for when specific events can happen. Meaning you can be in a multi-tasked situation and lose because of RNG. It's also common this happens, since this happened twice to me very quickly. When you use the security camera and spot something off, another thing can spawn right in your face. It's absolutely frustrating and a time waster. - Collision is extremely wonky. Run around in this small environment, fast paced gameplay, you'll see that your character loves to crouch on his own since this player controller lacks a good ground check and snap. - Quick time event for one specific enemy. Not bad to use quick time events. But the issue is the only way to avoid this enemy is to purposely get attacked, then do a quicktime event. It's also extremely long of a QTE. Your screen is just you getting choked out while you hold a single button for a few seconds, rinse and repeat. - This environment you're in makes little sense. Go to the roof and pay attention to the background, you're apparently a giant living in a gnome's world. Buildings are tiny compared to the one you're in. - Another environment complaint, there is a single hallway that goes to your apartment, there isn't a stairway in case of a fire, this is why fire exits exist. So, a small issue that few will notice, no impact on gameplay whatsoever. - No skip button for the intro. When you die, you do get a continue option in the beginning, which is cool. One issue still, you have to set up the entire security camera again, it doesn't take long, but you have to sit through a progress bar. So many progress bars in this game that take ages. - Main menu features aren't fully implemented, it seems. One graphic setting exist, and it is set to "AUTO." Keep in mind, there are two setting menus, one in the main menu and one in the main game. In the main game, you have only two options. FPS, and senstivity. To fix any resolution issue you might have, restart the game and fix it in the main menu. - In the game, you hear music playing constantly. You can't turn this off. While it is nice, this isn't a game like "Please Don't Touch Anything." You need to hear the audio, there are a lot of overlapping audios in the game. It seems there isn't much use of 3D audio if you have headphones in. - Textures are extremely inconsistent. Some photos that are small are high quality. Yet, some large posters barely have any resolution at all, just pixels. - Some websites are basically from WTTG. And there isn't a lot of websites to visit in this game it seems. - This game focuses on being fast paced, yet, the main objective is to find codes on a website. It's basically impossible to explore any website for more than 10 seconds without getting hacked, your internet going out, door being unlocked, forced to play FNAF on your other monitor, resetting the monitor, there is actually too much that happens too quickly. There is absolutely 0 cooldowns, heavily RNG reliant. You can play perfectly but lose because you have to hold space for a long period of time to reset your security cameras. - Resetting your camera takes too long, and resetting the internet takes too long. You click a button and you're met with a progress bar. This game has a lot of progress bars. - Getting hacked takes so long to actually happen. Mini-games are memory games, both are extremely similar mini-games. So similar that I thought my game bugged because the memory icons never loaded. Turns out, the game is designed that way. - The gameplay mechanics kinda make 0 sense. You're looking on the deep web while watching security cameras in your house. While it isn't bad, the issue is that items are appearing right in front of your face, you're being hunted by a group of people right? It's weird you have a ghost in your house placing things in front of you. It's a game though, nothing always needs to make sense, but it's better that it does. - Barely any reminders on what specific things do. There is an in-game store, you cannot hover over the items and have a small prompt show up that says exactly what these items do. Leave it up to your imagination. - Seriously, too much goes on at once. This is my biggest complaint. It isn't fast paced, it's repetitive. You do one thing, only to be forced to do something else over and over and over in the span of 5 minutes. You're running around in this game more than actually browsing the deep web. This is more of a test with keeping up with multiple tasks (that involve RNG) than being fast paced and fun. - Enemy designs are similar to WTTG, but they are also a bit boring, and the only one that sort of makes sense is the Hitman, keep your door locked. Everything else? SWAT, some lady with a mask, and the uh, plague doctor mask guy? They all have mechanics to avoid them that make 0 sense. SWAT for example, they can only find you if you don't report enough anomalies in your own home. It's a game, things don't have to make sense, but man, this is some wacky stuff. - Using the PC is hell on earth, this isn't counting the multi-tasking and switching back and forth. It's that sometimes your mouse will notice something it can click, yet, nothing happens. The buttons are poorly paced. So much on the screen, the notepad feels pointless, tabbing out is better and using your own notepad. Cheating? Yes. Yet, it's unfair to have a hack, wifi go out, security cameras go down, front door unlocking, this all can happen at the same time. You can lose a hack because of everything happening at once. - Epileptic? Skip this. Dark mode isn't a thing in these types of games, the game has a warning for epileptic users in the beginning, but my god, he wasn't kidding, flashing lights for days. I'm epileptic and most games are bearable with flashing lights. Some things in this are visual hell for anyone epileptic. These visuals are interesting and always welcome to see still in games. This is more of a warning for anyone who is sensitive to flashing things. - You're given a phone in the beginning of the game. It's useless. Given a flashlight and a text for objectives. While there might be more for the phone after beating it, it's still very useless. Though, it's nice to see. Small tiny details like this are fine. Tiny nitpick. - The actual jumpscare audio when you die is quieter than the notifications on your PC. That's the real jumpscare. - Animations are stock animations, never bad to use these. My issue is that you can tell what is stock and what isn't, as the developer who animated some things are very jittery, lack movement or have any movement at all. My favorite is that someone is being hung on a cross in a cutscene, only for their hands to be facing the wrong direction when being hung on a cross. Obviously, this can be a dumb killer, but my god, it's hilarious. - You can clip out of the map quite easily by getting on specific objects in the house. The developer seems pretty active when it comes to responding to reviews and Discord. Some of my complaints from a previous review was taken into suggestion. Also, NO AI. There is a picture of the dev badly photoshopped in the game, and honestly, this is more genuine and cool to see. This I respect alone. Created by an actual person, not AI. Keep in mind, my review shouldn't stop you from getting and supporting a small game like this. I'd rather give my money to this individual than the original WTTG developer, terrible fellow. This review is silly. I'm just autistic and notice details that others don't, breaking games is my specialty. I'm sure if the dev decides to sit down and fix many complaints, I'm sure these are issues are common.
It has been a genuine pleasure when experiencing this newly released brand-new horror game by Tarba Paul Cornel. The game offers a deep striking visual looking environment filled with intensive realistic survival horror. I strongly recommend playing this game.
The game is pretty good for those who enjoy dark web–themed content, similar to the movie Unfriended: Dark Web, as I noticed some similarities. A small downside is the part where you have to face Dan — according to the instructions, it says to “sit.” Maybe it’s just me being Vietnamese, but I misunderstood it as literally sitting down, so I sat for quite a while and nothing happened. Turns out, you actually have to stand with your back facing Dan, not sit. I will rating this 8/10 for me
Incredible game, it is similar to Welcome to The Game, but it actually feels winnable. Plus it has more interactive fun rather than making you panic every three seconds. Truly one of my favorite games of 2025.
If you liked Welcome To The Game, you will probably like this one too. The atmosphere is great, and I'm really enjoying it, though I still have to finish it. I encountered a few minor bugs, but they can be easily fixed. Overall, I would recommend this game!
