Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
《Neptunia Shooter》:

6.5/10 A fun and cheap game! There's barely a story, Music's okay..., and graphics are passable. It was made as an April fools joke so, it's kinda bare bones/slapped together. WARNING: This game is VERY difficult (I can't stress this enough; There are no continues and you only start with 3 lives) I've got a maximum enjoyment out of it for about..... 1 hour after that the difficulty really sours the game for me.

Neptunia Shooter is a unique arcade spin-off that takes the colorful cast of the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise and places them into a fast-paced side-scrolling shooter. Developed and published by Idea Factory International, the game abandons the turn-based role-playing mechanics associated with the main series in favor of a more immediate and action-focused experience. The result is a compact title that emphasizes reflexes, score chasing, and frantic battles while retaining the humor and charm that fans of the franchise have come to expect. The story is intentionally simple and serves mainly as an excuse to throw players into nonstop action. Familiar heroines from the Neptunia universe find themselves dealing with an unusual situation involving endless enemies and an overwhelming amount of pudding. The narrative embraces the series’ trademark comedy and absurdity, creating a playful backdrop for the gameplay. While storytelling is not the primary focus, the lighthearted tone helps the game maintain its personality and ensures that it never takes itself too seriously. Gameplay revolves around surviving waves of enemies while collecting valuable items and maintaining control of an increasingly chaotic battlefield. Players move across the screen, firing continuously at incoming threats while avoiding attacks and gathering resources. The controls are straightforward and responsive, making the game easy to understand within minutes. However, as enemy numbers increase and the action becomes more intense, players must rely on quick reactions and careful positioning to survive. This gradual escalation creates a satisfying challenge that rewards practice and familiarity with enemy patterns. One of the game's most interesting features is its unconventional combat mechanic involving captured characters. During battles, defeated allies can be picked up and launched as projectiles against enemies. This humorous system fits perfectly with the quirky personality of the Neptunia universe while also adding a strategic layer to combat. Deciding when to use standard attacks and when to throw rescued characters becomes an important part of maximizing damage output and improving overall performance. Replayability is one of the title's strongest qualities. The game is built around arcade-style score chasing, encouraging players to improve their runs and compete against their previous achievements. Multiple playable characters provide additional variety, as each brings different strengths and gameplay nuances to the battlefield. Learning the advantages of each character and mastering their unique traits adds depth to an otherwise straightforward formula. Players who enjoy refining their skills and pursuing higher scores will likely find themselves returning for repeated attempts. Visually, Neptunia Shooter successfully adapts the franchise's anime-inspired aesthetic to a shooter format. Character artwork remains colorful and expressive, while special effects and enemy designs contribute to the energetic atmosphere. The presentation may not push technical boundaries, but it captures the spirit of the source material effectively. Fans of the series will appreciate seeing familiar faces in a completely different genre, while newcomers can still enjoy the vibrant visual style. The audio presentation complements the action nicely. Upbeat music keeps the momentum high throughout each stage, while character voices and sound effects help reinforce the game's playful personality. The soundtrack does an effective job of maintaining excitement during intense encounters, making each session feel energetic and engaging from beginning to end. The game's relatively small scope is perhaps its biggest limitation. Compared to larger arcade shooters or the extensive role-playing adventures of the main Neptunia series, the amount of content can feel somewhat limited. Players seeking deep progression systems, extensive campaigns, or elaborate storytelling may find the experience lacking in those areas. The title is designed primarily around short sessions and repeated playthroughs, meaning its long-term appeal depends largely on how much players enjoy mastering its mechanics. Despite these limitations, Neptunia Shooter succeeds in what it sets out to accomplish. It delivers an entertaining blend of arcade action and franchise humor while offering enough challenge to keep players engaged. The accessible controls, unusual combat mechanics, and replay-focused design create a fun experience that works well as both a spin-off and a standalone shooter. It demonstrates that the Neptunia cast can thrive outside their traditional role-playing roots and provides fans with a refreshing change of pace. Rating: 8/10
It's a bit bare bones, but it's charming and inoffensive.
Neptunia Shooter is a nice little pixel arcade side-scrolling shooter. However it is far too difficult for casual players and it feels more like a bullet hell especially since you have far too little health. The configuration options are very limited as they only include keybinds and do not allow you to change any audio settings. There is no real fullscreen mode but at least you can resize the game window manually. While the controls are okay it would have been helpful to have a small indicator for the hitbox because the character model is much larger than the actual hitbox. It would have been better if the general movement was faster while having an additional slow button for precise dodging like in the Touhou games. The abilities of Vert and Blanc are unfortunately completely useless and their attacks are so bad that using them often leads to your death. It is really only worth playing with Neptune and If but because you have to cycle through the characters you constantly end up on the trash abilities by accident. The achievements in this game do not unlock while playing in Steam's offline mode which is very unusual as they normally unlock anyway in other games. Also another issue is that sometimes the game won't launch for some reason even though the process is showing up in the task manager. In the end the gameplay is pure memorization of enemy patterns but for a very low price it is still a relatively acceptable experience. For games like this I wish Steam would add a third option like "It's fine" or a 5-star rating system.
