Nearwood - Collector's Edition

This is a real hidden gem, and I'm glad I was asked to play it, or I wouldn't have discovered it. Nearwood has everything you need in a hidden object game: a good story, a beautiful soundtrack, and gorgeous artwork. The story is about Jane, whose mother died mysteriously, and then his father disappeared. She grew up with her aunt, who later asked her to go to her parent's old house to discover a great family secret. The voiceovers are excellent, too. This game didn't fail with its soundtrack as well. However, it is still fun, as there are varieties of puzzles to enjoy. Some of them are tricky and require good thinking to solve. The characters' styles are cute, and the whole game's art looks like a fairy tale. However, you can't just fast-travel randomly because it has a cooldown, like a hint button. ГГ (опять девушка) попадает в мир сказки с эльфами, феями и смурфиками. И нужно помочь всем вокруг, попутно разгадывая тайну "почему мой батя ушёл за хлебом и не вернулся". Гоняют воду "Нет нет нет мне не нужна помощь твоя, ты и так много сделала, вот только нету в деревне света, эх если бы вернулось электричество" ❌[i] [b] -КАРТА.[/b][/i] Быстрое перемещение есть, только у него 30 секунд перезарядка KEKW Нахрена мне бегать через 15 экранов, чтобы взять 1 предмет и возвращаться назад через 15 экранов, чтобы его вставить, ну чё за садизм.

Отличная игра от команды разработчиков из Молдовы. Жаль, что видимо это их последний проект, потому что официальный сайт выдает 404, а страница во ВКонтакте не обновлялась с 2016 года. По визуалу, интерфейсу и механикам Nearwood однозначно HOG, но самих сцен поиска предметов в игре очень мало. Однако это нисколько не минус игры. Благодаря красивейшим сценам, приятной музыке и интересным оригинальным головоломкам играть очень интересно. Не буду кривить душой, если скажу, что для меня "Улесье" (так звучит название на русском) стала образцовой HOG, если не считать сцен поиска. Однозначно рекомендую к ознакомлению любителям жанра и остальным игрокам тоже.

[h1] Ok I guess. Artworks are nice, story a bit like a fairy tale for kids. Music and sounds, nothing to complain. HOG elements mostly easy and you can just spam click until finding correct item. Game should take 6-8 hours to complete. Often those type of games have some redeeming values like artworks, story and music but this one is mostly skippable. Still on the edge of recommendation - 6/10. [/h1]

A beautiful HOG =) The story is good, the world design is amazing and the puzzles are fun to solve :3

Hidden object adventure in the Big Fish/Artifex Mundi style with roughly 3 hours of content.
