Super Fun once you get the hang of the controls.
Ce jeu est exceptionnel ; c'est de l'art sous forme de jeu vidéo, et cela se ressent vraiment au niveau des visuels, de la bande-son et de la narration — tout est visuellement appréciable. Cela m'amène toutefois au seul point faible du jeu : le gameplay. - Bien que conçu pour paraître vaste, l'univers est assez linéaire (ce n'est pas très grave, après tout c'est un Metroidvania, et je me perdais souvent rien qu'en admirant l'esthétique du monde). - Les commandes sont parfois assez agaçantes, surtout pour les dashs liés à certaines attaques (CE FOUTU DASH AVEC COUP D'ÉPÉE VERS L'AVANT EST UNE TECHNIQUE QU'IL FAUT ABSOLUMENT MAÎTRISER). - L'histoire est plutôt courte : je l'ai terminée à 100 % en 9 heures (ce qui pourrait d'ailleurs nécessiter une seconde partie). Sinon, c'est un excellent jeu. BRAVO !
The Retro 80's synthwave vibes jam packed into this game gave me nostalgia for a time period I didn't even live through. From the sound design to the art direction, the writing, and even the old school screen filter, everything about this pays homage to games and tech of the past. The setting is much more rich with lore and potential world building than I had expected, and the story is full of "Hell yeah" moments like surfing on floppy disks, fighting with a shotgun lazer sword, and Gundam horses? It's a good game that I bought on a cheap sale which makes up for the following flaws. The combat is awkward at times, some bosses seem to have unavoidable attacks and the ending is a bit anticlimactic but all in all I'm very satisfied.
