While the game is fun, there is simply not enough of it. Only took me 49 minutes, and 10 of that was spent looking for an Item that was hidden in the shadow of another innocuous item. The good: Great graphics for VR. Plenty of interactive items. Nice sound design with an interesting way to do ambient music. The bad: Far too short for the price with a cliffhanger ending that doesn't explain anything and a promise of future "Episodes". Overall, I would say wait for it to go on sale at about 6-7 dollars. Or the price just drops
My 2 Minute Video Review → https://youtu.be/2xKxLj0WsXg In Nanoshift you’re tasked with exploring a scientists home in search for information on how to stop a virus. It’s a puzzle room mystery game, but there are several rooms to unlock and explore. I was impressed with the overall design of the game. It’s an environment that I enjoy spending lots of time in. The home your exploring feels like a historic victorian home, but it’s riddled with advanced futuristic technology. The thing I liked most about the game was the frequent use of Puzzle Boxes. I found those really fun. If you’ve ever played The Room game on iOS then you’ll feel right at home here. The puzzle boxes are a satisfying experience that feel truly physical and tactile. More content is planned for this game and I hope there will be more puzzle boxes in the future. The gameplay is quite customizable. You can choose to use the grip buttons or trigger for grabbing objects, and you can choose teleportation movement if your room scale isn’t big enough. Among other options. I got about 2 hours of gameplay out of this. And this is one of those games that I’ll be replaying down the road after I’ve forgotten it. I feel that I’ve gotten my moneys worth. For puzzle fans, I recommend it.
I haven't completed it yet, but I'm loving it. I'm a fan of escape room type VR games and have played most of them - this is definitely one of the better ones. Excellent use of room-scale, really clever puzzles, multiple rooms, intriguing story without it being in your face, and great graphics. Great value too!
Even in early access this is an enjoyable puzzle/discovery game. The environments are well put together, the puzzles and exploration are fun, I quite like the backpack mechanic. I also appreciate that there is little hand-holding and the player has to work things out for themselves. The developer is really responsive and that makes a big difference! Looking forward to seeing how this pans out into full release.
My Initial Thoughts: I have to admit this is my 1st escape the room type of game and I found some of the puzzles really challenging. There is no hand holding or help facility as far as I could tell so you really need to use your brain in order to progress. The graphics, sound, and locations are top notched. This is a highly polished and very clever edition to any VR puzzle lovers library. Nano Shift is one of the most complex, well thought out puzzle/escape room type games I have ever played in virtual reality. As you can see, I am 1.4 hours into the game and I still have not beat it. Puzzles take quite some time to figure out without getting frustrating. Music in the game is great and the visuals are pretty. Some of the puzzles could have a little more clues, but I believe that's half the fun. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good escape room type game with some very clever puzzle mechanics.
Well it's pretty tough to explain the game.... well it makes you think and think pretty hard or at least makes me think hard and i think im a pretty smart guy but i still find it difficult but not enough to make me mad and not want to play anymore. The game deff looks good and no problems so far some stuff is hard to pick up but all and all no complaints from me on this one. Two hours went by pretty damn fast but i enjoyed it !!!
Awesome game! Love not having to use teleport to get around..:)

[th] [/th] [th]Oh no[/th] [th]Maybe[/th] [th]Great[/th]

RATING
-X-

Gespielt mit: Intel I7 7700K GTX 1080Ti 16GB Ram Translate: Player experience (VR version): It is best to watch the video above, but this shows a lot but not everything. Nano shift is a puzzle, adventure in the body of an Escape the Room game. You have to fight through a series of tests. For this, you have to explore the rooms, which have been equipped with objects and puzzles. Between the rooms you can move freely and return to a previous room at any time in the "house". Since the puzzles do not just correspond to simple patterns, but sometimes have the gameplay of a point and click adventures, your character has an inventory in the form of a backpack. This is very much reminiscent of the inventory of "The Gallery - Episode 1: Call of the Starseed“ The inventory of Nanoshift has a lot of positive reviews and clean integration. The puzzles are varied and easy to solve with some reflections or searches combining objects. No perfect English is required, most of the texts are simply written and serve the story in the game. Motion profiles: You can move freely with RoomScale in your area. The whole game can be played completely in RoomScale, but needs some space. If you do not have 2.8 x 2.8m available, the "Teleport" function is supported. Particularities: I especially noticed the very well-engineered physics engine. Objects are placed correctly in the room. T his means that one object does not slip through another. If you find a box on the ground, you can fill it and lift it up, and all items remain physically correct in the crate. If you want, you can build towers with objects around you. No shaking, no collisions. And the graphics are just super. The textures are very high-resolution and have correct structures everywhere. Small scratches with reflections on wood or metal. Just beautiful. Per: - Full RoomScale - Story - Increasing difficulty - In Game Tutorial - Packing atmosphere - Super Physics Engine - Very nice graphics - Many puzzles Cons: - Music can not be switched off - Game can not be saved at this time (patch comes) - Some minor bugs (hand can no longer grab or duplicate items) Playable in the current version?: Yes, except for a few minor bugs that are still fixed. Wishes: Please patch the "Save / Load" function as fast as possible. Played: Intel I7 7700K GTX 1080Ti 16GB Ram
