oh the nostalgia!

DONT GET CATPHISHED LIKE WE WERE. THE CASTLE IS A STUPID MCMANSION IN AMERICA IT IS NOT IN FRANCE. I REPEAT, IT IS NOT IN FRANCE. It's so claustrophic, you barely even get to leave and there's like no one around.

My first Nancy Drew game, played it when it first released. It's the fourth game, so it's significantly shorter than the others. The culprit is blaringly obvious long before the end, and I think if I wasn't working off memory, I'd have to get out Gameboomers - this one isn't super intuitive but I also didn't call George or Ned so I'm hoping hints are there for anyone *not* wanting to use a walkthrough. No notes or checklist for the early games. Played on senior detective, which only makes the puzzles a little more difficult. My first but not my favorite! Very nostalgic. Only crashed once...save often.

wish i could return and get my money back on this one. too glitchy to navigate, a useless layout, theres no checklist or notebook.

Lots of running around and doesn't navigate easily. Need to re-do long processes over and over.

One of the simpler Nancy Drew games, but still a decent one. It's definitely also one of the quicker stories to get through. Unfortunately, it does suffer a few issues - the aiming for the navigational clicks are off and it's easy to miss where to go or even how to move in the environment because of it. Fortunately, most of the games don't have this problem. Also, the culprit was extremely obvious from the get-go. Either way, it's an interesting little story and I still recommend giving it a play.

One of my favorite nancy drew games

Exactly what someone else said really, been playing the old games I never played as a kid. Still love how nostalgic it makes me feel but I really got annoyed by this one. Love the silly accents and characters but god I hated running around the hallways and getting lost constantly. Missing something for me.

Professor Hotchkiss is an icon, a legend and she is the moment.

Not bad but not as interesting or logical as some other ND games, kind of obvious from the beginning, who the main culprit is, and it was odd at times, i couldnt understand the logic and had to use hints. The puzzles are not very interesting and theres not manyb of them. Controls are mid, i got stuck multiple times because controls would work only in the specific spots on the screen and i thought there is nothing more to do
