Even though I had to force myself a little to keep playing at the beginning of the game, and you have to navigate the same places a lot, the mistery became more interesting quickly. Nice and charming story, and the puzzles where you have to possess people are specially neat. I had a good time!
I enjoyed this game! A lovely point & clicker, with a very fun puzzle gimmick once you get into the swing of things. Never too hard, but it still brings plenty of fun ideas to experience.
Recomendado
This is an excellent point-and-click adventure with strong storytelling and a very engaging setting. The aesthetic is probably what brought you here, and it truly lives up to expectations: the pixel art is gorgeous and pulls you straight into this imaginative world of the afterlife. You’ll meet many ghosts, learn their stories, and explore a unique interpretation of what comes after death—one that isn’t always pleasant, but always fascinating. I genuinely recommend this experience. First, because it will give you a memorable and meaningful time. Second, because it’s very reasonably priced. And finally, by supporting indie developers who create projects like this, you encourage more games of this quality to exist.
Lo he disfrutado!
Pilar is dead, struck by lightning. Then she arrives in the underworld. Or does she? There's some mix-up and instead her spectral body is inhabited by another. A mystery is afoot as we try to figure out how she...they?...died. But there's more to it than that. There's strangeness in the Afterland, and it'll take both of them and unexpected allies to crack the case. Shadows of the Afterland is a fun and short point-and-click adventure game that deals with life after death, and most assuredly worth any fan of the genre's time. Highly recommended.
Relatively short for the 15$. Game seemed a bit too simple and many puzzles were repeating going to the same few people over and over for different things. Game also appeared to not address or explain the main mystery of
why Carolina was even dead if she never died or was born yet when time in the afterlife appears to flow parallel to the living world.
Very lovely and funny point & click adventure without any "moon logic".
