Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon is the thirteenth Nancy Drew adventure game. In this game, Nancy tags along with a group of other celebrities that have been gathered on an unusual train trip. The train belongs to Lori Girard, and she wants the group to help her figure out the location of the hidden mine discovered by Jake Hurley, the train's previous owner. This was one of the least mysterious Nancy Drew games I've played so far. The game presents you with a few different mysteries right at the beginning. One is resolved very early on and another carries you through the rest of the game but everything else that's introduced doesn't really go anywhere. The main plot is a solid treasure hunt with a pretty unnecessary "bad guy." I could tell who the culprit was going to be from pretty early on, because these games always have one, but this was a mystery that would have worked well (maybe even better) without a villain. The puzzles in this one were mostly at a pretty good difficulty for me. I was usually able to figure out the puzzles and minigames on my own. Most of them were straightforward and neither too easy nor too difficult. I did end up needing a couple of hints for some of the more complicated puzzles, but I felt like these puzzles were mostly well-designed and I had just made incorrect assumptions and gotten stuck. There was one puzzle that was confusing because I understood what it was going for but the rules seemed to apply inconsistently. There were also a couple of places where the hotspot for a small object was too close to a bigger hotspot and they ended up being hard to find. Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon was pretty middle of the road for me. I wasn't crazy about the story, but I thought the puzzles were just about the right amount of difficult and the game didn't have any of the annoyances or technical issues that come with some of the others in the series. 6/10
i've played this game like 5 times throughout my life (mostly childhood) ive played a ton of ND games and this one is hands down my favourite
This was my first Nancy Drew game of this particular series, which I received as a birthday gift from a friend. I found the puzzles to be challenging, but fun and often satisfying upon completion. I'd definitely suggest using a physical notebook in order to solve some of these puzzles. I also found the interactions with the characters to be really funny. This game is voice acted and they did a great job.
Cheeseburger.

chugga chugga horse horse. ♥♥♥♥ you lori.
TRN is a great game. The charcters are interesting, the puzzles are fun, and the train setting was cool.
I wish I could recommend this game, but it crashes so often. You have to save after every minor thing. I shouldn't have to fight a game to play it.
