Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A review? Seriously, it's MYST!!! :)
Intensely disappointing. I bought Myst expecting to be able to play Myst. Then one day, I didn't get Myst. I got a badly acted, bland, lifeless remake that couldn't even mange to remake it right. If you want to play Myst, don't buy Myst. Buy Myst Masterpiece Edition, apparently. Which is now what this used to be.
Wonderful modern adaptation of a classic. 3d renditions of character leave a bit to be desired, less memorable than the live action.

В Myst 1993 у входа в электростанцию летали бабочки. Деревьев на острове было гораздо больше и они были выше. Это были стройные, высокие ели. Когда я запускаю игру 93 года, я испытываю трепет, может это просто ностальгия.
Myst (USA, 2021) is the remaster/remake of Myst (USA, 1993) by its own developers. It's always tricky to judge this type of work, because should the main criteria be how well it stands on its own, or how faithful it is to the original? I had mixed feelings about Myst as a kid when I played it back in the day: it's a fantastic idea, and it was very innovative at the time. But the puzzles were easy as ♥♥♥♥ and the game very short. In retrospect I just see it as the stepping stone that got us to what was next; it timidly walked so others could run. The remake is the same: great concept, very easy puzzles, only a few hours to finish it. Measured as a recreation of the original it is very satisfactory, as far as remakes go it is definitely a good one. It's the same game, with vastly improved graphics and controls, and a bonus level at the end that acts as an epilogue that neatly ties the story together, as well as a preface to our mysterious protagonist's next destination: Riven. Not that much else to say about it really. Since it's not a trailblazer anymore, the game of Myst itself has become pretty forgettable, I've seen indie games on Xbox Live Arcade with the same amount of depth and content. Myst is to first person 3D puzzle games what Space Invaders was to shooting games or OutRun to racing: a new beginning, a breath of fresh air, a glimpse of the possibilities of the future... but a pretty weak experience nevertheless. Almost a glorified tech demo, a proof-of-concept. Despite all of this, I recommend the remake to pretty much everyone: the ones who played it before will get a nostalgia kick out of it, the ones who didn't will get to discover an absolute classic. Probably should get it on sale, though.
Wonderful remake of the original Myst game. Much better graphics and the puzzles while true to the original are refined to play better and are much more fun I think. Overall much better and worth every penny,
I can see the appeal 30 years ago, but i've got to say the game core mechanics and puzzles didnt age too well. Had troubles since the very beginning with the onboarding, running around for about 1 hour achieving nothing until
finding the note at the very start.
, so that set the tone for the rest of the game. Story and VAs are also somewhat aged, with the story barely keeping me interested, with the big majority of the "lore" being told trough
books and not that much enviromental storytelling.
The puzzles are by far the worst. i managed to solve all of them without ever looking at a third party guide, but i felt that some of them relied on unexplained mechanics,
like the clock tower
, while some, as soon as you figure out the super simple mechanic, drag on wayyyy to much and become frustrating, like
rotating the fortress, or running around switching pipes in channelwood.
Also, the game features the worst puzzle ever created by mankind:
The Mazerunner, which unless you have played the ages in an unlogical order (mechanical first), and / or traversed luckily at the first try without going to dead ends (which break the whole puzzle mechanic), has you completely mapping 25+ subways stations, each with 8 possible directions, on the slowest possible swiveling platform, until you find the single exit.
Apart from all this, the game obviously has nice visuals and a really nice ambiance, reminding me of the witness (which of course is inspired by this game). I guess you should try it before playing Riven
came from the blue prince developer, but couldnt stick around for the puzzles.
Great puzzle game, that perfectly recaptures the early 2000s point and click adventure game
